I do not need reminding of what my LORD and SAVIOR has already done for me...
God called me , I said " Here I am Lord " He called me to repent ,
He called you to repent of your sins. To confess them and repent of them.

He washed me clean ,
He washed you clean of sins, sins that you are supposed to repent of doing.
He has filled me with His Holy Spirit , I am a child of God , and nothing can take me out of the Fathers hands , nor the palms of Jesus , because Jesus and God are one...
It can be a dreadful thing to be in God's hands.
You do not have ears to hear , your jesus is NOT the Jesus I worship , I follow and obey my LORD because the Holy Spirit wills me to all things in the strength that Christ gives me...
I have a powerful testimony, and your condemnation has no affect on me, like the way others did on you.
You have your hands full of your daily works , my hands are empty , I have nothing that Ii can come to Christ with , only my love that God Himself has poured out into my new heart that is willing to serve Him all the days of my life He gives me to breath...xox...
I live in the Spirit realm because I obey. Your hands are empty is not a good thing to say about yourself. Go read about the parable of the talents. Go read about how our works follow us.

Paul boasted that faith in Jesus' blood washes us clean. Not dead faith.
There is no such thing as dead faith. How many times do you have to be told that? (A dead faith is no faiht at all)

Payl said he boasted in the cross. And God forbid if he boasted in anything else

Are you going to explain what that means or keep trying to walk around it?

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

No works involved. All provided by God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

A fountain springs water from its source.

A polluted fountain can only spread polluted water, while a cleansed purified fountain on
pure clean water.

So the water declares its source.
People talk of evil like it is inevitable, yet they avoid talking about both the blessings
and struggles they really have, because having light in their lives would make it plain
where they were, and they believe there is nowhere they can go.

Unbelief leaves sin alone, because the fear of failure is never answered, just fear
and failure remain.

Belief challenges who we are and asks us to move and follow our King, the Son of God,
because in Him nothing is impossible. Amen, praise the Lord.

Which is more difficult, heal an arm of leprousy, or cleanse the heart of a sinner and make
them Holy?

The penalty of sin is death,
Thats what we are saved from, the penalty of sin.
The gift of God is eternal life IN CHRIST.

Your rejecting the gift and calling God sarifice insufficient by saying it must be earned.
The fool says in his heart I am saved because I have believed on Christ, but what and how I do
not know but I am given life eternal.

The wise man knows Jesus told Him to obey, follow, repent and ask to be healed, so they did
and they were. How unbelief kept the sinner captive, only the sinner knows because they
refused to believe Jesus and His words.

If the most powerful being in the universe, who knows the future and the past and made
everything, told you to do something, would you ignore it?
Yet there are people who say yes they would, because they know better.
Do you notice they have made themselves above the Lord of all creation?

Those who rely on their "works" to gain salvation and then to keep it are going to be in for a big surprise.
Those who think Jesus did not call us to follow and obey, to walk in righteousness and good works,
and stay in sin and condemnation, will find their faith was as nothing and there end as evil doers
is exactly as the prophets predicted and declared, the second death.

is exactly as the prophets predicted and declared, the second death.
Then their faith is the same as evil doers.

Basically no faith in Jesus that shows up.

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

The 'not of works' is the works of the law which are the purification works, for which circumcision is the sign.

Just read how Paul starts talking about circumcision in the flesh.

Ephesians 2:11
Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
We have to come to him and confess our sins and repent of them.

Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
We have to do what he says.

Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Salvation had not happened when the jailer believed; for if it had, he would not have asked that question he asked, he would have been saved immediately, according to your mistaken beliefs.

Those people had to hear the message. The message is about repenting of your sins to have life.

See Acts 10:44, Acts 11:15, Acts 16: 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.

Did you hear that?

They had to hear the message that saves and it is the message that says to repent of your sins.

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."
His words tells us WHAT TO DO TO GET SAVED and what to do to STAY SAVED.

John 8:51 I tell you the solemn truth, if anyone obeys my teaching, he will never see death."

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
If you say/confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, then you had better be obeying him.

Luke 16:46 "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Read what Paul says about if you say Jesus is your Lord:

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “the Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

The foundation is repentance of sins.

No works involved. All provided by God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Believing is a works we have to do, and it is made complete by an action, like confessing your sins with your mouth.

A dead faith is what James calls a CLAIMED faith He also called it belief I can believe in someone, But if I do not HAVE FAITH IN THEM, I will NEVER do what they say..

I gave you many scriptures where Paul boasted in his and other's obedience.
You still refuse to answer WHY paul boasted in them, What was he boasting in? What cause the change in their lives?

I do no such thing.
You have done it and your still doing it..

Picking up where we left off since it is the same thing you replied to me earlier in the thread.

The "not of works" is Paul, is clarifying grace-based salvation in the face of a pervasive works-based understanding of salvation prevalent in the Judaism of his time.

Why would Paul write about that to gentiles in Ephesus?

Its hard

Its hard to be told we are wrong

Its hard to be told who we trusted and looked up too taught us wrong

Its even harder to study and open up to the point we ask the question. Iam I missing something, is there something I need to learn
I agree...But God says to be humble , and He will lift us up...
A humble heart is a beautiful sight to God...
Pride closes the ears of those who believe they know everything , and are not opening to learning...

We are to lift each other up , not tear each other down ...
People who fight claiming we can lose our Salvation is a work from satan , putting fear into ones heart , God has not given us a spirit of fear , but a spirit of sound mind,,,
If we could lose what our precious LORD and Savior has done for us , we would be living in fear everyday...
Thank God for His promises...xox...

I know...Where does their assurance come from ? Where is their security in Christ ?
It is heart breaking , I am so happy Jesus warned us about false teachers etc , Jesus lives in us , we abide in Him , and nothing shall seperate us from the love of God...Amen...xox...

It has to be why they hate us, Because we have security. Security they want, But pride will nto allow them to find it.
