How did you guys start becoming Christians?

My mother brought me up Christian. As I got older, I became an agnostic. But never turned into a full blown atheist. Then later after that, I became a Christian again. And I've been a Christian ever since.


I'll be honest and say that I think we all have times when we doubt our faith. I know I did....and sometimes still do. But I made the choice to put my faith in God and Jesus. And I intend to stick by that choice. And that's that.

I always believed in God but growing up I always looked up to my uncle's and brother they were always getting in fights and sleeping with different women. My friends aren't the most godly to say the least but thier not bad people but they party and drink and some smoke weed and I started doing the same. I got in afew fights and I would try to talk to any attractive girl I saw. I would justify this by thinking everyone does it especially teens but I always felt sad and angry inside until December 8 when I prayed to God and asked for his forgiveness. I quit smoking and drinking. And I want to follow god now. I don't care how much I get made fun of by family and friends. I'm alone in my faith but God has never abandoned me. And I realize that his all I need.

In addiction doing drugs, life was miserable, mind went crazy, i called on Jesus for hours screaming and he saved me, I was reborn again and grew in a personal relationship with him, he's awesome , He gave me a new heart, new spirit, renewed mind.

I have grown up in church my whole life. Though, like everyone I have had my stuggles thoughout the years, but God is merciful and forgiving, thank goodness. I grew up going to a Christian school, and now I attend a Christian University, which is truly a blessing and has helped me along the way

I was raised one

God took me out of a place of extremism, hatred and self loathing by touching my life in a way that terrified me. When he paralysed me while I was attempting to corrupt his church on behalf of extremists, it was a clear message of him telling me "I am real, I am powerful and I am Lord". I ran from that church, but you can't run from God. That same night I wept and cried and begged for forgiveness. Then, I asked for grace, grace for him to change me and he did. Now, a year on, I haven't looked back and God is my centre and my life.

I started truly following Jesus when I was 13, I’d never been to church before but I had heard about Jesus and what he did. I was always agnostic until one day after several weeks of God playing on my mind I broke down into tears of joy and at that moment I started to believe.These are the main reasons I finally began to believe: My family told me of when my mom had really bad conjunctivitis and couldn’t open her eyes and her dad prayed for and the minute he finished she opened her eyes and it was gone. When I was 9 years old, I saw spirits, one was an old woman who was grey and seethrough, she took a step and looked at me and flashed and then vanished (my dad saw it too!)After a few months I searched ghost sightings in that area because stuff like that plays on your mind because it’s not exactly something you see everyday and there was an exact description of what I saw. (I promise you guys it was real !) and the second one was when I was on a school trip and there was a completely glowing white spirit in a long dress which ran behind a building, all of her including her face and hair was just white, it was strange. I kind of began to connect up the dotts and realise if there are spirits there is a God. I think another reason was that the bible has never been disproven, historians have confirmed the places and people in there, it does include a few scientific facts although it’s purpose is to spread Gods word! It says the Earth is round and hangs in space (many people thought it was flat!) it talks about washing your hands under RUNNING water and quarantining and more things. Everything prophesiesed in the bible has come true and still is... So people who say it’s just a fairytale should probably actually give it a read. As I’ve come on my Christian journey I have faced difficulty and doubt even after all the things I saw but God makes these things happen because it makes us stronger and persevere. My faith has changed my personality overtime and I feel myself gradually growing into the person Jesus wants me to be. God bless you all!
