Jesus told his disciples, if u forgive it is forgiven in heaven and if u do not forgive it is not forgiven in heaven, so the apostles had the power to forgive and condemn. but many christian feel that we should forgive anything and everything but i feel that some wrongs go too deep and some crimes especially to a family members are just too evil to even consider forgiveness

If we desire to be forgiven our desire must be to also forgive. It is always permitted to e kind, but we are never to be unkind.

Jesus died for all sins. He forgave every one. We are to be like him in this.

NO one can be forgiven if they do not repent of their deeds and receive forgiveness.

It is salvation we must ask for it and be willing to receive it with all it entails.

so u are saying he will forgive someone who deliberately hurts a child, i think not, if thats what u believe then u do not know Jesus, the worst sins are against children and Jesus said the perpetrators of such deed would be better it they got thrown into the sea wit ha millstone around their necks

No, the worst sin is against the Holy Sp

I don't know Christ? By your error in belief, you are saying his sacrifice was only able to cover some sins-not all. Clearly, you only know a Jesus you made up, because the one I know is able to forgive ALL sin. You might want to think about why you are presuming to limit Christ Jesus and what his death on the cross accomplished.

I will leave you with this.
Mark 3:28-30"Verily I say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemous where with so ever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blasphemy against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, he hath an unclean spirit."
Jesus said ALL sins, not all sins except molesting children. I hope you can see that you aren't arguing with the devil, but Jesus himself. If not, then I'll let you be ignorant.

If they acknowledge their wrong by asking for forgiveness they yes we should forgive them..

Forgiving someone does not mean we need to stay around them or become their best friend.. Forgiving is letting go of revenge or other forms of recompense..

And another point.. Just because we forgive does not mean that person is covered from the wrath of God.. A person needs to be in the right place with Jesus in regard to their salvation before they can be forgiven by God.. So a person might have settled things with us but still be facing judgement from God..

good point, but i know in my heart there are some things i could never forgive and i hope they never happen, i am a forgiving person in general, but i would never forgive anyone for hurting a child or children and i do not think God would either because they are precious in his eyes

Noblenut, thank you for forgiving me. I don't need to forgive you, because we just disagree about forgiveness. I have three daughters, so I understand what it is to not want to forgive anyone who ever hurt any of them in any way. Those are my feelings, however, and not what the bible teaches. Jesus said if we don't forgive, then God the father wouldn't forgive us. I admit I couldn't forgive before I was a Christian, but I can through-Lthrough Christ Jesus. My disagreement with you is out of concern for your soul. Because if you truly believe Jesus didn't die for ALL sins, then you probably know the wrong

Good point. I'll never understand why anyone would think we can pick and choose who or what we should forgive.

Noblenut, I appreciate your forgiveness. I dont forgive you, becausebI dont think you did anything needing forgiveness, we just disagred. I understand such strong feelings, as I have three daughters. I hope your beliefs on forgiveness will change eventually, because I know that Jesus said ALL sins but blaspheming the Holy Spirit are forgiven.

i appreciate that but there are several people who were not forgiven, Judas hanged himself, ananias and his wife were struck down for lying to God and rev says anyone who gets the mark of the beast will be eternally condemned. there are things that God does not tolerate and neither should we

Among victims more times then not it becomes paramount, over time without it can lead to bitterness resentful, hatred.
