Christ Jesus as God with us (Emanuelle) is completely apart from any trinitarian doctrine

So answer the question.

So answer the question.
Where is the post where you answered the two questions?

Oh for goodness sake D.

This is the problem with looking up stuff on the internet and dictionaries.

Concupiscense means sexual desire.....
This is what it will say.

But if you study Catholic doctrine, you'd know that it means any desire that goes against God's laws.
In sin have I begotten you.....Psalm 51:5
It's believed that in the act of procreating (and not procreating) man is at his base self. I won't go beyond this...hope you understand.

So the sin nature (which is what we understand) is understood to be primarily present in the act of procreation.

However, ANY desire against God is called concupisence. That part of us that makes us tend toward sin.

405 Although it is proper to each individual,295 original sin does not have the character of a personal fault in any of Adam's descendants. It is a deprivation of original holiness and justice, but human nature has not been totally corrupted: it is wounded in the natural powers proper to it, subject to ignorance, suffering and the dominion of death, and inclined to sin - an inclination to evil that is called concupiscence". Baptism, by imparting the life of Christ's grace, erases original sin and turns a man back towards God, but the consequences for nature, weakened and inclined to evil, persist in man and summon him to spiritual battle.

You should know by now that I know both Catholic and Protestant doctrine.
God did not inspire Catholic doctrine....he inspired the Greek word translated concupiscence and for the record....the Catholics set NO standard for biblical truth!!

Wow.

Just looked it up.

You better let Fran know that.
I have just responded to her thoughts concerning the said word.
Oh I did and she responded with some Catholic drivel............like they set the standard for anything......

What two questions?
Heres 86554, it related, as you know to my quote of John17:20-23 where you state you have answered the questions

I wrote:

''BTW
It was a genuine mistake, a silly mistake, but apart from a couple of wrong verses being inserted, it was the correct text from rosemarys post and comment concerning it. I would be a wee bit less concerned with me being suspect and a bit more concerned with finding answers to the questions''

You responded

''Umm I have answered your questions, I believe it is me that is waiting for you??''

right here:

ANSWER

seeing that i obliged you, perhaps you can spare the 1 to 3 second it would take you to type either two or three characters on your keyboard, to answer something that a number of us want to hear from you now?

is Christ God?

Write out the answers to the questions, you asked for them
it's a yes or a no -- however i see that you wrote several more than three characters.
weird that you would go to qualitatively more effort to not answer than it would take to plainly reply??? is Christ God?

however if the person of Christ offends you, how about a less offensive question -- do you know what a Klein bottle is?

do you know what a Klein bottle is?
I knoiw you seem reluctant to actually write out the answers to the two questions, one can only wonder why

This is one line from an entire letter, that is not how we obtain truth from scripture.

John very clearly defines in his letters "righteousness" is the righteousness imputed to us through Christ.

The law is the measure whereby righteousness is measured.

However, Christians are not under the law for righteousness.
Instead, it's our faith that is counted for righteousness, Rom 4:5.

I was not disparaging Catholics, I was disparaging their doctrine and to disparage their doctrine is to let the doctrine off easy actually!!!

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous."(I John 3:7)

Doeth - poieō

Thayer Definition:
1) to make
1a) with the names of things made, to produce, construct, form, fashion, etc.
1b) to be the authors of, the cause
1c) to make ready, to prepare
1d) to produce, bear, shoot forth
1e) to acquire, to provide a thing for one’s self
1f) to make a thing out of something
1g) to (make, i.e.) render one anything
1g1) to (make, i.e.) constitute or appoint one anything, to appoint or ordain one that
1g2) to (make, i.e.) declare one anything
1h) to put one forth, to lead him out
1i) to make one do something
1i1) cause one to
1j) to be the authors of a thing (to cause, bring about)
2) to do
2a) to act rightly, do well
2a1) to carry out, to execute
2b) to do a thing unto one
2b1) to do to one
2c) with designation of time: to pass, spend
2d) to celebrate, keep
2d1) to make ready, and so at the same time to institute, the celebration of the passover
2e) to perform: to a promise

Strong
Apparently a prolonged form of an obsolete primary; to make or do (in a very wide application, more or less direct):

Neither of these definitions supports your claim of implied righteousness. You ignore the fact that I said:

"This is very contrary to the whole counsel of scripture. For example:"

The scripture quoted was an example. There are many more.If you wish I could cite/quote them also.
