Are you saying no christian could lie, or dwell on impure thoughts, or even just once commit adultery? Please do not deflect

If a believer stole, bore false witness, coveted, committed adultery or murdered would they be conscious they sinned by doing so?
I'm saying a Christian being taught and led by the spirit of God within him will have no desire to act in those ways. If deceived in their heart and they conceived sin God has not left them, they have strayed from God. All that needs to happen is for a believer to bring turn them around and the Lord will draw them back. We don't drive them, we simple get them to look back. At the faith that was carved into them. The spirit does the rest.

The law applies to all who sin. So yes, they would be conscious of it through the law, and through the spirit within, depending on which relationship they have most with God. (law/spirit)

But the law does not apply to those who are clean. And we have a cleaner within.

Again, are you called to sin though you are filled with the spirit? We have a cleanser, not an excuser.

When a believer lives by the spirit of God they do not sin. I didn't say we can't be deceived or drawn away. I said our calling is to stand in holiness. The spirit gives us the power to do so. If we fail it is us, not him. And he is forever there to offer help back up. Through all who believe, if not directly from himself.

Just to be clear here, for if the Spirit is in you, you are in a saved state.

Would a person in a saved state/believer be conscious they sinned if they bore false witness, coveted, took the Lords name in vain, committed adultery or murdered.

Don't respond with Christians would not do those things. If you dwell on impure thoughts you have coveted. Answer the question please

If you cannot plainly answer the question it does not matter how much scripture you are putting up does it. If you do not know the answer to this question, or do not have the confidence to plainly answer it, you clearly cannot be relied on to understand scripture concerning this subject can you

Once again
Would a believer, a person in a saved state be conscious they sinned if they bore false witness, coveted, committed adultery, murdered, or took the Lords name in vain?

You remind me of the difference between the enemy and the Lord. The enemy goes around all day long pointing out peoples sins, then throws them under the bus (law). The Lord spends his every moment pointing the way out of sin, then reaches out and grabs you just in time.

All you appear to me to be doing is looking for an excuse to sin. "yea yea I know we are to be holy BUT if I sin Lord...then what??? huh?" That's the heart of a believer? Well, that could be the heart of a sick and spiritually deformed believer, yes. But it's not the place we are called.

Are we called to live in sins?

No you have not, you cannot plainly answer it can you, for it shows your understanding to be false. All you have done is try your hardest to deflect from plainly answering the question. It does not matter how much scripture you put up, you know as well as I do, and as everyone else does that if a believer bore false witness, coveted, took the Lords name in vain, committed adultery or murdered they would be conscious they sinned by doing so.
The only way that can be the case is if that law is written in your mind and placed on your heart. And that is one of the most basic biblical facts
Through the law we become conscious of sin rom3:20

For anyone who is interested in the truth, you are dead to righteousness of obeying the law/works of the law, in that sense you are dead to the law. Your righteousness is faith in Christ. The law in your heart and mind cannot condemn you for you have a saviour from your sin, your sins and lawless deeds will be remembered no more. So it is not a law of sin and death, or a law of condemnation, nor is it the letter that kills. What got abolished was a law written on stone, it got transferred to tablets of human hearts(2cor3:3)
Simply means that in your heart you want to live as God desires you to live. No condemnation in that!

Except that the bible completely contradicts this thought.

2 Corinthians 3:3-9
3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

You just don't understand scripture?

You think that everyone that has read the 10 commandments has had them written on their hearts and minds because they know what sin is?

I suppose those that have a heart of stone really DO have the 10 commandments written there. But those who have been given a Heart of Flesh have a NEW LAW written on their hearts by the Holy Spirit which causes them to walk as God desires.

Ezekiel 36:26-27
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Does honesty matter Grandpa? Or can it be ignored for the believer?
You see, if we are really honest, you know as well as I do, it would be a ridiculous thing to tell any believer they would be wrong to be conscious of sin concerning murder, stealing, adultery, bearing false witness. That is why you cannot ask walking tree the question isn't it. So what do I say now? Your belief is ridiculous, or you just cannot understand this subject according to what is written in scripture:
Through the law we become conscious of sin Romans3:20

The spiritual intent of the fourth commandment is upheld severn days a week in believers. Do you understand that, or must I elaborate?

Oh you did, sorry. I must have been smiling too much to notice as I read your explanation as to why Christians would be conscious of sin if they broke the law written on stone which is now in their hearts
Grandpa appears to believe Christs death at calvary would not be sufficient to pay the price of your sin, for he keeps quoting from 2corinthians 3 concerning the ministry of death and condemnation, the letter that kills which was written on stone.

Ok. Good Job.

Now you know it isn't the 10 commandments that are written on a Christians heart but rather the "spiritual intent" that is written.

All you had to do is put away your false philosophy for 1 second and read 2 Corinthians 3.

Lets see if you can rightly divide the word, if you can, and have a true understanding of this subject, you will forthrightly answer the question, if not, you will ignore it or deflect from answering.
Should a Christian be conscious of sin if they commit adultery, bear false witness, steal, take the Lords name in vain, covet or murder?
A simple yes or no will suffice
Only I have read Leviticus but have no consciousness of sin whatsoever concerning avoiding the Levitical unclean foods.

Anyone who has ever read the 10 commandments and know what they say know what sin is.

If you go to a store and it has a sign that says "NO concealed weapons allowed" and yet you bring in a concealed weapon you are aware of your wrong-doing. Did the store owner write his sign on your heart? No. He wrote a sign. You knew that what you did was against the stores rules.

DO you park in the handicap spots and aren't handicapped? Do you know that if you did it would be wrong? Is the handicap sign written on your heart? No. Is it in the 10 commandments to not park in a handicap spot if you aren't handicapped? No.

This is the same concept with EVERYONE who reads the 10 commandments and takes God seriously. God doesn't write the Ministry of Condemnation and Death on a Believers Heart.

God writes the Ministry of Righteousness on the Believers Heart written with His Spirit.

NO, it is NOT Gods Will for the Believers life to be conscious of sin.

It is Gods Will for the Believers Life to be conscious of Righteousness.

Which one takes Faith in God?

Sin consciousness doesn't take faith in God. It just takes knowledge of the 10 c's.

Righteousness takes Faith in God.

Really? So if a Christian stole, took the Lords name in vain, coveted, bore false witness, murdered, has other gods before their Father in Heaven, God would not want them to be conscious they sinned by doing so
Wow, wonder how many agree with such crazy thinking. Just proves you cannot rightly divide the word

If a Christian was conscious of Righteousness they would be following Righteousness.

Stealing and all the other stuff you listed is not Righteousness. It is the RESULT of sin consciousness.

Romans 7:6-7
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

The only reason this is considered as "crazy thinking" is because so few really understand the New Covenant and even less teach it.

Rightly divide the word...
