The books that go into the New testament are considered to be authentic scripture and in accordance with the Truth according to Christians.
However, there are other scriptures, letters, gospels etc. Some of these are considered false.
My question is, are the scriptures in the Bible the only ones considered authentic and therefore the Bible is the sum total of authentic scripture, or, are there some scriptures that were left out of the Bible, but are nevertheless considered authentic and worthy of study?
