AMEN...every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess..........I have always said.....why not do it willingly...........
@gb9 made this statement:

Jesus is everyone's master, if they believe in Him or not. (post no. 82,966)

You give him an "amen".

How is Jesus the master of someone who does not believe in Him??

Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?

That is saved in full, complete, done to the uttermost, irrevocable...complete assurance for those who are born again in Him.

End of story...I have nothing more to say.

Take it up with the Holy Spirit, only the Spirit can lead you into all Truth...if you are truly seeking that is.

Yes, the person who thinks they can add to the work of Jesus is deceived according to everything Paul writes.
It looks like that there's no such thing as "APART FROM OSAS"... in the Bible based on your reply.

Quote: "It is finished”...

What is finished?

...but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I DO EXACTLY WHAT MY FATHER HAS COMMANDED. “Come now; let us leave. John 14:31

...and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and WE WILL BELIEVE IN HIM. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I AM THE SON OF GOD.’” Matthew 27:40-43

...He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. THE REASON THE SON OF GOD APPEARED WAS TO DESTROY THE DEVIL'S WORK . 1 John 3:8

...I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:50-57

... Although I am less than the least of all God’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, ACCORDING TO HIS ETERNAL PURPOSE which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. IN HIM (1 John 2:3-6) AND THROUGH FAITH IN HIM we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3:8-12

...To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

...On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I AM IN YOU. John 14:20

...But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, Philippians 3:20

...And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because OUR SALVATION IS NEARER NOW THAN WHEN WE FIRST BELIEVED. Romans 13:11

If sin is still in the world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air is at work in those who are disobedient, what can you say about judgment day and God's wrath? Are you not going to be judged anymore? Have you been clothed with immortality and incorruption and presented to God as pure and unblemished? Was it all finished? If not what was finished?

Will the OSAS group be exempted from judgment and God's wrath even if they disobey and teach orers to do so and thus change the grace of God into a license for immorality?
AMEN..........he keeps peddling the same fallacies over and over and over......that is religion for you......blinds one to the truth and then brainwashes one like a zombie...........
Wake up rebel soldier...START WALKING AND STOP TALKING.

Walk trough the valley
We all know, without knowing that the things of the Spirit of God are Much greater than we realise. "The Grace of God has appeared to all men," leaves no exception but those who say they see and remain blind. "Now we see dimly," and the dim light we have is sufficient. Grace sufficient to influence us to lose our life to find it in Jesus, "I have the Power to lay down My Life and I have the Power to take it up again." If you wish to have that Power, seek Him with the whole heart. We already have a glimpse of the Resurrection by His Spirit with us. "In a race all compete but there is only One winner." He shares His victory with His friends. Jesus doesn't want to rule alone, but we must be One Spirit with Him. "This is the rest were You will cause the weary to rest, not by might not by power but by My Spirit sais the Lord." Jesus said "My yoke is easy and my burden is Light," His burden is light because He already finished the work by Himself. The yoke of working together with Him, adjusted for the stronger to bear more of the load. He lets us bear what we can handle to develop our faith to grow in Love, there are times it seems more than we can handle and he gives more Grace. We are left to follow Him in bearing the Cross as Simon did for the Lord. Fulfilling what is left behind of the sufferings of Christ for the Church. The new commandment could not be accomplished under the law and surpasses fulfilling the old covenant nullified in His death. "A new commandment I give to You, that you Love one another as I Love You; that you also Love one another." Includes Loving His enemies struggling with pride of accomplishment under the law to prove themselves and wanting others to struggle as they do, without seeing Unconditional Love of God as they are. "Those who compare themselves among themselves are not wise." If someone abides in the new commandment, he will exceed obedience to the 10 commandments without trying to fulfil the law, as its the Holy Spirit giving us rest, and having entered into rest we cease from our labour as God did from His. "Now we are labourers together with God, encouraging you to be reconciled to God." Those who obtain rest from dualistic thinking in knowledge of good and evil are no longer dominated by sin nature (ego); walking in Love delivers us from fear and satisfies our heart so that we no longer thirst after the world: as long as we continue to drink from the source of Living Water and remain in the will of God, and if we fall "We have an advocate with the Father." "Let no one turn you away from the simplicity of Christ. Love is the Power of the Holy Spirit to turn an enemy into a friend. are we there yet? lol no we have not arrived.

Does anyone here disagree though?

I agree, those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom. Thats what it says. Doesnt it?
The whole key to that verse is applicable to a way of life or manner of life....I.E. a continual lifestyle of sin.........as opposed to one who is saved and struggles with the inward battle between the Born again spirit and the dead body of SIN.....the mind is the battle ground and if it is being transformed by a renewing by the word of God the struggle becomes easier and the SPIRIT wins more than it loses......

We agree!
Haven't read all and don't know what verse we're speaking of...
however, what you state above is true.

1 John 3:9 states that a born again believer cannot practice a life of sin because he is born of God.
Don't we know persons that do NOT practice a life as God would want, and a life of loving their brother?

John states:
1 John 3:10-12
10By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

11For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; 12not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.

Jesus said if we hate it's like murder.
We should be careful not to hate...

Mathew 5:21-22
21“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ 22“But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to gointo the fiery hell.

If we CONTINUE hating, or continue any sin with no regret,,,,
can we still be saved?

A continuing sin is a sin with no regret attached to it.
Hebrews 10:26

Not sure what you are asking.....but God gives the gift of salvation to those who have repented (have had a change of mind away from dead works to Christ)
Repented of the sin of unbelief in Jesus.
Is that not what saves?
Then we do good works.
After all many people do good works without faith in Jesus, the same as we do.
But those without faith?

Those Christians who have the ability to walk according to the Spirit, because they are born again and have the Holy Spirit, but instead, they practice the works of the flesh, and walk according to the sinful desires of the flesh, will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Then they are not born again and are not Christian.

If they claim to be born again but have no interest in changing, even after being corrected per Romans 5-6 then it's the Holy Spirit in them?

Is there a difference between one who willingly practices such things with no regards or someone who is caught up in a period of sin who hates it and seeks release and deliverance from it?

Amen! This parable if often quoted by works-salvationists who try to teach there are believers/Christians who do absolutely nothing and will not be saved while boasting about how much THEY DO.

In this parable, the talents represent monetary value and are distributed according to ability (vs. 15). The requirement is to invest in Christ. The first two servants deposited their money with the bankers (Matthew 25:27) but the third servant buried his money in the ground (vs. 25). The third servant had been given abilities and the opportunity to believe and bear fruit in accordance, but had chosen to reject it.

The fact that the latter man in this parable is called "wicked/worthless" and "slothful/lazy" and an "unprofitable" servant who is cast out into outer darkness, certainly indicates that he was NOT A TRUE disciple of the master. The idea of this illustrative parable is that all true believers will produce fruit in varying degress. All believers are fruitful, but not all are equally fruitful (Matthew 13:23). Those who produce no results at all are not truly converted.

This is the man's characterization of the master—“reaping where he did not sow and gathering where he scattered no seed.” This slothful so-called servant does not represent a genuine believer, for it is obvious that this man had no true knowledge of the master. Two of these servants were children of God, but not the third. Children of God are not cast out into outer darkness.

*The fact that this man is called a "servant" does not mean necessarily that he was saved. The Israelites were referred to by God as "My servant whom I have chosen" (Isaiah 43:10) even though not all of the Israelites were saved.
Oh DOUBLE TALK.

After calling others sinless perfectionists and works salvationists, they will boast and make themselves appear to be genuine believers who obey God and bear fruits while others who disagree with them were unbelievers, faithless and were not even saved in the first place.

Btw, the parable speaks about a master ENTRUSTING something to his servants.

A master expects his servants to obey his commands.

Israel was given and was entrusted with a lot of things and they are the servants of God.

...the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises. Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen. Romans 9:4-5

They were entrusted with the law, no other nation or people were given the law but Israel. They are the chosen holy people of God.

Ephesians 5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual IMMORALITY, or of any kind of IMPURITY, or of greed, because these are improper for GOD'S HOLY PEOPLE.

But what did God say to them?

...“You have said harsh things against me,” says the Lord. “Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’ “You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. WHAT DID WE GAIN BY CARRYING OUT HIS REQUIEMENTS and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty? But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly the evildoers prosper, and even those who challenge God escape.’” Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name. “They will be mine,” says the Lord Almighty, “in the day when I make up my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. Malachi 3:13-18

If the Gentiles received God's Grace and Mercy because of Israel's disobedience, should we receive it in vain or just hide it under the ground just like what the foolish servant did?

As God’s FELLOW WORKERS we urge you NOT TO RECEIVE GOD'S GRACE IN VAIN. 2 Corinthians 6:1

...For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, WHO CHANGE THE GRACE OF OUR GOD INTO A LICENSE FOR IMMORALITY and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Jude 1:4

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;"
"That the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."

For people to change they need to know they are Loved as they are, in the example of Jesus who took the blame for His creation. Otherwise there is a mentality such as the residential school: native children in Canada taken away from their parents, forced to learn the Truth in Christian boarding schools, the government hired both Protestants and Catholics to do this, no knowing any better. Later the government had to admit this was abuse of power and compensate the abused.
This in the book of Revelation, "You have those who teach the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes (dictator conqueror) which ting I hate."
Constantine declared Christianity the state religion, but a Christian is not a religious man under law, rather a friend of the Saviour.
In the old testament its prophesied that the enemy "Will think to change times and laws." To bring people in bondage again. Quarreling with the enemy in people is bondage in dualistic thinking of I'm right and your wrong, when none of us are right. The enemy succeeded in causing wars involving the Church, when he can no longer do this He will cause all those who don't worship it to be put to death, in a war kingdom against Kingdom "Except those days be shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elects sake those days will be shortened."

The truth is that the deceiver has been deceiving from the beginning until now.

These deceivers will REJECT and NULLIFY the Word and believe the deceiving spirits.(Isaiah 5:20-24, Mark 7:6-13)

...while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 Timothy 3:13

...THE SPIRIT CLEARLY SAYS that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through HYPOCRITICAL LIARS, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 1 Timothy 4:1-2

How would we know who were the ones that were deceived?

We know that Eve was deceived when she believed the deceiver and disobeyed God's command.

Who are the deceivers and who were deceived?

..But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

...At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:10‭-‬14‭, ‬24

...For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. 2 Corinthians 11:13‭-‬15

And those that were deceived believed in the deceivers mentioned above and disobeyed God's commands because they were made to believe that they would not surely die, IOW, "always saved". But scriptures warn us not to be deceived;

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6‭-‬7

...Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”... Genesis 3:1‭-‬19

Just think what could have happened if Eve did not believe the serpents deception but OBEYED God instead. ...NO NEED TO DISCUSS SALVATION FOR SURE because no one needs to be saved.

The truth is that Adam and Eve were created according to the image of God's righteousness and holiness and they BELIEVE and OBEY God until they got DECEIVED and disobeyed God. If they were deceived, why can't you?

Did God warn us about the deception? If He did, then why refuse to take heed of them?

So who would say now that OBEDIENCE TO GOD HAS NO BEARING IN SALVATION?
