Tolerance??

According to the leftists, a person who disagrees with them is called a bigot. Most people won't catch this...but leftists bank on the stupidity of others and unfortunately we have a bumper crop of them these days.

True Christianity is peaceful toward other religions, yet the world hates Christianity at the same time, even when peaceful; 1 John 3:13; John 15:18-19; John 17:14. Yes, we should listen to others share their faith out of being respectful, but in Christianity it is the only truth wherein we never hunger or thirst for anything other than what we have in Christ; John 6:35. There is nothing in the faith of any other religion that someone truly converted stands in need of, as it has nothing to offer to those who are neither hungry nor thirsty.

What they generally mean by tolerance in this context is to accept the beliefs of other religions as valid. They know true Christianity does not see other religions as valid, so it is bigoted toward the Gospel and those who embrace it.

It all goes back to the pure hatred of the exclusivity of eternal life and the way to God being only through Christ; John 14:6. The world cannot tolerate this as the message of the cross is an offense to the lost world, 1 Corinthians 1:18. Repentance and faith in and toward this message is intolerable to the natural man who can do neither without Christ; John 6:63&c. The world only hopes there is another way to God because the world sees itself as morally good, the Gospel denies its assumption and exposes its wickedness; note the hated Romans 1 for instance.

The Tolerance = Acceptance is one of the Biggest deceptions formulated in the last 2 generations..

You only need to tolerate something that you disagree with or annoys you.. Tolerance is putting up with something that irritates you or you disagree with but do not think it is right to take aggressive actions against..

Tolerance = Acceptance is an Orwellian New-Speak lying twist of the English language..

The Bible makes it clear we are to hate a lie and love the truth.. We should hate false religion.. But that does not mean hating those people caught up in false religion.. We should love them but hate that which has them deceived..

Tolerance is a political correctness buzzword used to water down any held convictions.
If you hold a conviction and express that conviction then people who oppose that conviction will immediately jump on the you're being intolerant war wagon.
It's an attempt to silence people who hold traditional or Christian values and convictions.

Unfortunately some may use the word tolerance that way. When someone talks about a subject and they cry " tolerance" but won't let someone of a different view speak, it is hypocritical. True tolerance would allow for both Christians and those of different faiths or nonreligious to speak up.

Have experienced that with some unbelieving workmates, they think its ok for them to spout their unbeliefs 24/7 but the moment you talk about Jesus they try and shut down the conversation. Its because darkness cant stand the light.

I think it is ok to stand in the truth, that we should, with humility. We don't have to lose civility to stand firmly and boldly in the truth. In fact, credibility in the content and the One standing in their beliefs is greatly increased when one can be very clear, without wavering or swaying from the word, while still expressing the fruits of the spirit. Our testimony is not just in our words but also in the spirit that delivers them. We all have triggers, things which we find more offensive, but it isn't about us, it is all about the cause of God, making His appeal in all that we say, think, feel, and do. I don't know about you, but I do know that I am so grateful for His mercy. He has put up with so much more than any of us deserve.

I tell you one area that really hits my intolerance button is legalizing abortion, especially up to 35 weeks...:O!!! Lord forgive me but it is so challenging not to want to go in swinging, so I understand why ppl get fed up with false doctrines. We take our Lord and His truth to Heart!!!
