Asking people to message you "for any reason" is foolish and unwise. We have many scammers and sexual predators here.

I suggest if you wish to talk to us, do it here in the forums through your posts. Welcome to CC.

I really don't think that it would be wise for a member to message a complete stranger. Allow the other members to get to know you first through the posts you will write before making such a request. There are various forums and threads where tough questions are always asked, and there is already a forum for prayer requests so there is no need to send a private message to an unknown entity. I would not advise anyone sharing anything with you until you have established a post history. You will find that the threads in the various forums are very much like an ongoing conversation so consider becoming a regular contributor. Looking forward to getting to know you through your posts. I have been active in this site already, this is one my more recent posts.
I have an interest in talking about Biblical subjects (That's what I've been doing this past week already), however, I know there are those who may not be interested in that, and just want to talk about everyday life as a believer....so I posted here as well.
Anyone and everyone has the ability to visit my profile and see the posts and comments I've made on other forums if they would like.
I understand your concern, thank you for being careful and considerate of others.

The main reason I suggested people message me directly is
A. It is more personal
B. Easier to refer to what people have said if the conversations are perpetual
C. Easier to pray for people categorically.

I am an open book, ask me anything if you'd like to know me better
