Does anyone here think the personality scores are fascinating to read and learn what they say about you? I got a ISFP.

Ha, ha, ha. It says I'm an ISTJ but it's tainted because we are not adequate judges of ourselves. I don't think anyone would consider me an introvert. But most of the rest is on the money. I am very assertive and feel a little bad because I think I should be more so, but that tainted the test. In reality I am probably an ESTJ.

I think I have taken this thing too many times and usually now answer for the results I want to see. I generally find the 16 categories don’t fit me much at all.

Today I am feeling more ISFJ, I think.

Guessing this thing is only visible to a few? All I see are your comments about it.....with random letters that have no meaning in and of themselves

Google myers-briggs personality and you'll find plenty of info. And some free online not official tests that will give you a result that might get some things accurate (or you can just read the type descriptions).

The topic comes up occasionally. The Myers-Briggs test is one of those perennial topics.

I'm an NBTT. Never Bothered Taking the Test. Lynx are too individualistic to fit in neat personality slots anyway.

I've taken it a few times, and each time it changes. I guess it depends on my mood that day lol.

Hello BrotherMike;

Wow! I hadn't thought of Myers Briggs since I took the test in 2016. lol! I'm an ESFJ, extraversion, sensing, feeling and judging.
I questioned the judging part but the way MB explained, it was not a condemning judge, but coming to a conclusion, providing resolve and going forward to the outside world.

It was fun to take, but since that test, like melita916 was saying, it also depends on my mood. lol!

I have the chart with the different types/definition if anyone who took the test wants to know.

Thanks, BrotherMike, for sharing.

God bless you all and your families.

The better tests actually work well at getting around biases in our view of ourselves. Many persons who are introverted have a misunderstanding of what introversion is. We tend to think of the introvert as the sickishly shy wall flower and albeit they probably are, many persons who are more outgoing and self assertive are also introverts.

Introversion refers to persons who need to "recharge" in solitude because large groups of persons tend to emotionally drain them whereas extroverts actually "recharge" in large groups. A lot of persons mistake me for an extrovert because I can tend to be the life of the party in smaller groups but put me in a large group and I head for the sidelines.

You don't have to take one - you are ISFJ - look it up and you will be nodding your head.

Nope, sorry. I'm closer to INTJ (I looked it up after that really intimidating unicorn poster) than ISFJ. But I don't really fit either of them, or rather I fit different parts of both at different times.
