I have heated discussions about islam with a sfi muslim from Sa. I'm abreviviating on purpose.
The issue is the corruption of the bible and christ being God.
The Muslim argument is God is so powerful why send flesh and blood to us. And how could God possibly have a son. How incredibly stupid.
Next, is jews corrupted the bible. It was translated from Armenians to greeks etc. Changed each time to suit them.
I say if you obey Mohammed then obey the scriptures torah bible. Mohammed says to.
About God sending Jesus I say he wanted to know us etc.
They roll their eyes.
I say what did your family believe before Mohammed. They say the book of Jesus not the bible.
This person is actually smart and has more information than me.

How to answer the bible has not been corrupted

I'd advise posting this in the BDF, since, as mentioned before, there isn't a lot of traffic in the Arab forums.

Tell him that muahhamd affirmed that the Torah and the Gospel of His time where revelations from God and that we have scriptures from that time and our Bible today is still the same as it was then.. The story that the Bible has been corrupted was not a teaching of muhammad but a later teaching made up by later Muslims who where having difficulty making the quran and the Torah and the Gospels align..

Well give scripture verses.. Until the muslim believes the scriptures are the Word of God he will not believe.. But at lest you will be able to reveal the scriptures that show why Christians believe that Jesus is God..

These are standard Muslim objections to Christianity, which are patently false.

So what you should do before you discuss the Gospel with any Muslim is read the Koran/Quran. You will discover that the Koran quotes extensively from the Old Testament, especially the Torah (the first five books of the Bible). Since the Koran was written around 600 AD and the Torah was written around 1500 BC, there is nothing original with the Koran. It is a corruption of the Bible and the Gospel.

1. So you can ask any Muslim why Mohammad is quoting from the Torah if it is corrupt. Then show him that the Koran corrupted the Torah by claiming that Abraham and Ishmael constructed the idolatrous Ka'aba in Mecca, since there is no such incident in the Bible. You must show him the Scripture which tells of Hagar and Ishmael being sent away and Isaac being made the son of promise.

2. Then go to Exodus chapter 3, and ask the Muslim to tell you who is the Angel of the LORD who appeared to Moses? Chances are he will be stumped. Ask him to read verse 14 which says And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Christians understand that the Angel of the LORD was actually Jesus before He came to this earth as a man.

3. Then go to John 8:58 as shown him where Jesus says Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. (I have matched this to the Old Testament)

4. Then show him verse 24 which says I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM [he], ye shall die in your sins. ("he" was added by the translators)

5. Then tell him that if he does not believe that Jesus is God as Man who died for his sins, then he will die in his sins, as did the Jews who did not believe.

35. And We said: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where yewill; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrongdoers.

No matter what Muslims and opponents of Muslims says, The truth is, the Koran has a lot of evidence to prove the legitimacy of the Bible. though Muslims will come up with different explanations ,

By the way, Muslims use various interpretations to avoid the existence of the Bible in the Koran, and Christians deny Muslim statements in various ways, but objectively ,People who argue about thisare rarely willing to find out the truth .
