Matthew 5:8 (Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.)
Psalm 51:10 (Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.)
Eph. 5:26-27 (That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of the word,
27. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.)
Ps. 24:3-5 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Ps 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee............So how do we as children of God live having pureness of heart? Titus 1:15,16......to the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscious are defiled.......

Only the constant working of the Holy Spirit in us can produce this, I believe!

1 John 3:

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.



Psalm 119:

140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

An accurate portrayal of a cleansed heart would have (Christs) blood rather than soap suds. :)

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7 KJV)

Running down the wooden cross

Covering the past and future in purified red

His Blood continually cleanses confessing consciences

Dissolving chains wrought in sin

Granting peace...without and within

Redeeming creation...

Restoring Joy...

Defining Hope...

Yielding Life...

Also God tells us to guard our heart, and not to give place to the devil...to be transformed by the renewing of our minds...having the mind of Christ..to abstain from all appearances of evil....as God leads us to walk a life being vessels of honor...coming before Him standing pure of heart. We are children of the Most High God.sons anddaughters doing Gods will for his glory....
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
