Seems to me that a lot of folks in this forum, really have never met Jesus
If they had they would know Jesus was greater than Adam
OSAS if Adam is greater, he put something on me that I will never get off.
If Jesus is greater, he is, then he stepped to the forefront.
What Jesus did, that, Adam couldn't was believe God
All God is asking us is to believe Jesus.
All of this hoopla can be explained through lack of a personal relationship between you and Jesus

Yes, Jesus Christ is God. You also said, "What Jesus did, that, Adam couldn't was believe God."I don't think there is a verse in the New Testament where Jesus says He believed in God. What He did say at John 14:1 was, "Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in Me." Now, do you believe Jesus is God? If so how do you know He is God? if not, why not?

I believe that Jesus was God in the flesh.
Someone who showed the way.
The only reason I believe that this was never stated verbally was because if he was to say he was, the crucifixion of God by his children would make zero sense. The constant questioning would have been, How could he have been, when we were able to kill him?
Another mistake by us to only believe what we see on earth.
Also it shows a father's love for his children by willing to self sacrifice......On this earth, is their anything more loving than someone who is willing to give up their life for someone else?

God is the pinnacle and like Jesus said to Pontius Pilate, You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above.

Jesus is God, and the man Christ Jesus is the personal human body of God, which He laid down His physical life for us, and purchased the Church with His own blood, and reconciled the world unto Himself in the person of Jesus Christ, God and man in harmony, for only a sinless man can reconcile the world unto God, but no man is sinless so God manifest Himself in flesh to give salvation to the world.

The Bible says the heaven, and the heaven of heavens, cannot contain God, for He is an omnipresent Spirit.

So this throws some people off how Jesus can be God when God is an omnipresent Spirit.

God manifest in the flesh means that God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus, for He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and He has the Spirit without measure, and it pleased the Father that in Him all fulness should dwell, where the saints have partial attributes.

And the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God, for He cannot be separated.

And the man Christ Jesus does not have His own personal Spirit that moves around with Him, for there cannot be a double portion of the Spirit in one place, and an empty place where the Spirit is not at, and the Spirit does not have to move, for the Spirit is already there.

The man Christ Jesus walks through the Spirit, and where ever He is at He has the Spirit, so if He is standing in a certain spot He has the Spirit in that place, and if He moves 20 feet away He has the Spirit in that place, the same as the saints.

Which is how Jesus can be an omnipresent Spirit, but inhabit a human body and still be God, for the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God, and Jesus moves through the Spirit, and where ever He is at He has the Spirit.

Hi Maverich, I'm fairly certain that the rubber meeting the road difference between Adam and Jesus concerns obedience (or the lack there of). However, if Adam "couldn't" obey (or believe), that would mean that God created him that way, so how could He hold him accountable?

Thanks!

The real difference between Adam and Jesus Christ is that Jesus Christ is God and He was not created like you and me. Secondly, God created Adam and Eve to have "free will" so anything they did whether good or bad is on them, not God. They chose to disobey God and that is why they are accountable to God. Plus God provided a way where man can come back to God's good gracies throught His one and only begotten Son.

Jesus certainly "~showed~ the way" in at least a couple of different senses, but the fact that He ~is~ "the way" is far more important, yes?
The only reason I believe that this was never stated verbally....
But it was stated in the Bible, both directly and indirectly, yes? For instance:

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

~Deut

John 8
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.
57 So the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?

58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.

YES.
Don't try to comprehend the things that God hasn't revealed.
Some things we are not capable of understanding.

This OP does not even address the question in the title of this thread. In fact it makes no sense.

Anyway, the Bible is quite clear that Jesus is God. He could not be God our Savior if He was not God.

Thanks!...... I know about 20% of the bible at the moment and I am learning as I go......What is simply amazing about Bible reading is, I can read a verse one day and believe that I 100% understand it's context BUT, the same verse read in the near or distance future, gives the understanding a totally different understanding.... MAGICAL!
