It's true that many are born with afflictions, and others are due to illness, injury or accidents. BUT God allows all that for reasons that He alone knows..
oh how i wish we knew why. its terrible

This is why i CANNOT witness to people who are in wheelchairs or born cripple or with a serious illness. I just CANT.
These people were born like that no fault of their own and I dare not tell them the gospel because it includes mentioning they have sinned against God and Jesus died for them. How you gonna tell someone like that they are a sinner? Oy vey!

ESpecially the God loves you part is a hard-sell if you were born crippled or with AIDS for no fault of your own

Death is lack of health.

A person who dies in their sleep usually die of a heart attack or something like it, some die just because their heart is old and it just stops.. ie, because of lack of healthy heart

God promised tribulation, he did not promise health.. It is dangerous to preach that God promises health because that is not true.
Paul, an apostle, writes almost HALF of the N.T. and was faihful enough to be beaten, whipped, imprisoned, and beheaded for Christ in Rome besought the Lord three times for his infirmity.....all three times he was told no!

If earthly life is the ultimate goal, than crippled is the most unfortunate person. Healthy and rich person is the most fortunes person.

But life on earth is only a second compare with eternity.

Wich is better crippled for a second and healthy and rich for millions years, or healthy and rich for a second and go to hell for millions years.

There are three people in wheelchairs at my church and all are christians.
Faith is in Jesus not their own abilities...
We have all sinned and many of us have been sinned against and the consequence is sometimes illness sickness and disease, but then look at Job who was righteous and he still got attacked by satan and got boils all over simply because he was righteous!
Joni has shared, and I dont mind repeating that here cos she told everyone in her book anyway, that she was not perfect either and often had sinful thoughts. But she learned to take these captive to Jesus.

Faith also has a quality of endurance, you dont know how long people have been afflicted. Many people, before they recieved their healing, had many many years of suffering. The woman with bleeding who touched Jesus garment, she had 18 years of suffering and no relief. Just because she was healed instantly didnt mean she never had to suffer those years before. Yet Jesus says her faith has made her well.

That woman heal, but that woman was die. She do not live on earth any more if so she will be the oldest person in the world, she will be 2000 years old.

I do not know how she die. God awaken Lazarus 2000 years ago, now he die and God not awaken him

So God not always awaken His children from death, not always heal the sick

If so no body die and all apostle still live today and Paul will preach on tv every day.

You dont seem to understand that we all die, even Jesus died. But he was resurrected. As we will be who believe. JEsus demonstrated these miracles because he loves us and also so that we know hes come to save us. Why we dont witness resurrections now, its because it isnt the end of the age yet for us. The entire creation is waiting for redemption, groaning for it.

Nobody has said Jesus heals everyone, because not everyone believes in Him, and even when he was on earth he couldnt get to everyone. Also the fact that many people dont have or are ignorant of his healing power, they havent got to that anointing. I wouldnt say its lack of faith, its just Jesus knows peoples hearts and what people need most is healing in their hearts and souls not their physical bodies, because what glory is it to have a perfect body in the flesh yet not a heart after the Lord. And sometimes its better to be taken out of this world than to be in it.

Also, Jesus resurrected body...it had scars on it! In his hands and feet. I think many people dont quite understand that healing doesnt necessarily mean we will all have perfect faculties in the flesh forever right now since that part of us wont inherit the kingdom anyway. Otherwise people could tell you were a christian because youd be walking round never aging, never getting sick, strong as an ox, and outliving everyone. Smith wrigglesworth was a man God had anointed to go and heal yet even his own son was deaf. And kathryn kuhlman, had great healing miracles yet even she didnt know why God would heal some people and not others.

It might be timing, it might be heart condition, you cant judge automatically and say its lack of faith. Even martha got antsy when Jesus delayed coming to see her sick brother Lazarus and by the time he did, Lazarus was dead. Yet his delay was deliberate..and a greater miracle followed.

The reason of my post is to tell what I believe about healing

1. Paul had a strong faith and now he death. It mean God not always heal because one had strong faith.

If God heal every strong faith, than no apostle die, the fact is all apostle die.

2. It doesn't mean I do not believe in healing miracle, but I believe God not always willing to do so.

3. I understand that the most importance healing is spiritual not physical healing, because we do not need our physical body forever.

Sorry,

But I'll have to reply your questions with questions... You know there are some questions Jesus answered with questions(smiles).
Given your position, what do you say about the healing of the lame man at the beautiful gate?

What about the healing miracles of the disciples Jesus sent out to preach and heal the sick?

Do you think those healings came from 'wishy' faith? I mean do you think those healings came from the disciples saying 'let's just try, if it is God's will, yes- else whatever' do you think those healings came from such kind of faith?
God (not Paul) when healing the lame had a purpose in mind. His works of the gospel are never attributed to what the eyes see.

With the lame it has to do with walking or understanding by faith .. To the blind giving them the unseen vision. To the deaf ears to hear what the Spirit is saying (etc).

In that way we are all born spiritually lame, blind and deaf . No faith of Christ working in us to both will and perform the good pleasure of our God . . .needed to walk.( understand)

Acts 14: 7 And there they preached the gospel.

The gospel provides the unseen work .

Acts 14: 8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:

Acts 14:9-10 The same heard Paul speak: (the gospel words the father put on Paul's lips. ) who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he, (the crippled) had faith (Christ's) to be healed,Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

When the unbelievers (no faith) saw it they attributed the work of God to the sinful disciples making gods in the likeness of men, seen.

Acts 14:11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

So what do you make of Matthew 8:17, 3John2, Mark 16:15-18, James 5:14-15?
They are metaphors used in parables. They as unseen follow and not lead after those who would make Jesus into a circus seal, Do a work perform a miracle then we will believe, as in who needs faith the unseen?

John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

Its an evil generation that seeks after signs and wonders . (not such thing as a sign gift) The two words sign and gift) are not found working together to create a doctrine.. Spiritual gifts not seen. . . yes.

The gospel as the new tongue of God's inspired word is that which can cast out demons. The false doctrines of men signified by poison will have no effect on their new spirit and heart. The gospel raises those dead in their trespasses and sin to new eternal life

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with "new tongues"; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.mark 16: 17-18

Bro, maby you should read john 20,30-31
Then you find the reason why our Lord did miracles and healings. (And later the Apostles)

Well no point saying that if he is still gonna be in that condition right?

Oy, I would think so, yes, definitely, for man's physical circumstances are not the dictator of his attitude when his full confidence is placed in Christ. I have heard I broken down to attitude is 90% of the battle won. However, Jesus has overcome sin and death 100% :)

I must admit, though, that witnessing to people who stubbornly cling to their self pity could be difficult.
