Many of us search for our true identity. Some think the message of Christ as life is ridiculous because it is so simple.
Regardless of what someone may think the true self is growing up in Christ. Your true self now is Christ in you, expressed as your creation. You are very unique in your creation, there is only one of you, someone said thank God
.
You were created with the gifts and talents and are very unique to the Father.
He created you exactly the way he wanted you. Most think, I'm not really talented or have gifts. The truth of the matter is you are these things and more.
Most of us always see ourselves as something less. Sin that entered in from the beginning left us as sinners by nature thinking we were no good, worthless.
So dont fret those that walk around head held high seemly having conquered the world. They have the same thing going on in them telling them their no good.
That is what the sin-nature does, and for the believer who has a new nature these things will carry over into the new life in Christ.
The plan of God in creation is for the believer to express Christ that is in them as they are, or through their creation.
You have heard the term "be yourself." This is the only time to be yourself, you need to know who you are, Gal. 2:20.
How does this all happen, look at these scriptures.
1Cor. 2:16

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
Philippians 2:5

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

In another place Paul said to put on the mind of Christ. Paul said if your mind does not become compatible with the Christ in you, then Christ will never be manifest through you.
Jesus expresses Himself through our soul--our mind, will, and emotions.
You need a gospel that will change your mind about who you are, and the gospel of Grace will do this for you.

Matthew 25
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Not sure what you mean. Grace is freely extended by God to sinners through Christ alone. After sinners become saints they receive the grace that is necessary to do the Father's will. And the Bible says "But He giveth more grace..."

As to the the OP, what it is talking about is the believer's position in Christ. Too many Christians are not fully aware of their position in Christ. And that is because the full truth of the Gospel is not properly preached and taught in many churches.

"Knowing Who You Are"

How important is it to make [a good name] for yourself?

Paul responded with a challenge: “EXAMINE YOURSELVES, whether ye be
in the faith; PROVE YOUR OWN SELVES” (2 Corinthians 13:5).

-Take a good look at yourself, Paul says. It is also needed to ask for God’s guidance.
2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

What Kind Of An Ambassador Are You?
When people think of [your name], they think of [your reputation].

1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

Which is more important: the name you are given at birth, or how
you define that name over the course of your lifetime?

1 A good name is better than precious ointment;
and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

-It's possible for your actions to bring shame to other people,
bringing shame to your parents and to your family name.

26 He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother,
is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.

7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion
of riotous men shameth his father. Proverbs 19:26; 28:7.

-Your actions can actually improve the reputations of other people.
You can bring honor to your parents and increase the family name.

24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

25 Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

-How can you improve your name and reputation? Proverbs 21:21; 11:27; 14:9.
How else can you harm your reputation? Proverbs 12:8; 13:5.

If someone steals, he gets a reputation as a thief, they are known by there fruits
People can tell whether your actions are worthy of a good reputation or not.

Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

-A person who does diligent work will be looked up to by others

29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings;
he shall not stand before mean men.

5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son:
but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes,
so is the sluggard to them that send him.

-Gossip can harm someone else’s good name.

21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire;
so is a contentious man to kindle strife.
28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

-How did King David handle people who slandered other people’s names?

5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off:
him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

You can improve your reputation by simply keeping certain things to yourself
28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise:
and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
6 Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

-Speaking about your own goodness does not enhance your reputation.

6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

-How do you obtain a good name and honor God’s way?

23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.

The only way to build a solid reputation is to make sure your “doings” are pure and right.
Focus on living virtuously, and “[l]et another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth.”

As a young man, David had a good reputation 1 Samuel 16:18. He maintained that repu-
tation throughout his life, finding favor with God and man . 1 Samuel 18:30; Acts 13:22; 7:46.

“Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established”
