I was remembering an incident that happened several years ago that taught me a very valuable lesson.
Back in the mid '80's I was assisting in a Sunday School consisting of 6-8 year olds. There was one boy who was just a handful! He was one of those who couldn't sit still, and didn't seem too interested in what was going on, even during the activity and craft time.
Fast forward to 2005-06, I was leaving our local Fred Meyer, when a young man approached me and began talking to me like I was his long lost friend.
I didn't recognize him, so I sheepishly asked him his name. When he told me, I was floored! This well mannered, and spiritually grounded young man was the whirlwind I remembered?
He went on to explain that I had been a positive influence for him, and he said "thanks for that."
Sometimes I wonder at how God works. And I wonder if any of us REALLY understand how our witness, and our service for Him impacts those around us....just thinkin'!

Wonderful! I had an experience in my Sunday school classroom. I was discussing a story of Jesus and one of my girls about 7 remarked, "Is Jesus FOR REAL?" Yes, He is real. She was floored and I loved it! Praise God for the little children! -student
