Yes with an asterisk.
Not every book applies with equal weight. It’s not to be read like a encyclopedia , it’s to be read like a novel. That is, God is telling his story. Also, some books are poetic in nature , more allegorical, like Genesis and Revelation.
The Bible was assembled by a council of men. There were at one time more books to the Bible.
Some were not chosen. Some were chosen reluctantly.
The Bible has been handled by the hands of men.

The words are all truly inspired. At this point faith is the primary form of fact checking. If everything was clear, there would be no debates or divisions. Accuracy of the 66 books doesn’t determine salvation. They merely give a history and context. In fact, I’m most definite the creation story wasn’t given as a historical account even though most Christians want to believe that. The take away from it is that we are created/invented/engineered, along with the universe. We are intellectual property and subject to divine intentions. If we chose to serve our Master/Creator then we shall be renewed/repurposed. We regain access to the Creator by following His Son. We all become one Body, Christ’s Body to enact the will of the Father. He is the Vine, we are the branches. We are no longer our own. Since He is eternal, we become eternal. We are one Spirit. This is Salvation!

All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable... 2 Timothy 3:16

I won't discount any Scripture as of lesser value as I don't possess enough knowledge of every single book to make such a determination. IN other words we need to exhaust and glean the Scriptures more to discover their truths. Today it is popular to dismiss the Scriptures and the OT as invalid, viz. Andy Stanley.

All of it is profitable, it is our duty to uncover this in all of its words and each of its books and chapters; 2 Timothy 2:15.

As originally written....yes indeed!
What happened to the "original" ten commandments written with God's own finger? They were destroyed, yet God preserved them perfectly in a copy. Was the copy inspired by God? Was the copy just as good as the "original"?

Mr John. Why do you not believe in calvinism and why do you believe in open theism? Did you know that the ones who actually translated the preserved perfect KJV were calvinists and disagreed with you on a bunch of stuff?

I was KJV only but I changed my mind recently when presented evidence that the original KJV included things like ".. this could be translated as X Y Z" and so on. So they did not believe they were translating something perfect.

Its still my favorite translation and you could argue its the best, due to the fruit its produced and how well known and succesful it is (most sold) but CLEARLY the translators believed there were multiple options translating certain places in the book.

They also had no problem of revisions or improvements to be made. Read the preface and check the notes of the original KJV

All throughout the Bible, there are examples where God's people had God's word but needed correction on their doctrine. It makes no difference to me if some or all of the KJV translators were Calvinists. Open Theism? I never have personally studied it, nor heard of it until someone mentioned it in on one of the threads. I am a Bible Believer. I believe every word is true and pure. I take the words literally and honest as I can within the context of Scripture.

You say the KJV is your favorite translation and give reasons why? I ask you...do you ever feel the need to correct it? And if so, why? By correcting it, you now become the final authority on what God has said. I'm not willing to take that title.

I dont correct the KJV. If i talk with people and quote scriptures, I quote what I quote and leaave it at that. I never say this is translated wrong or that. Because im not QUALIFIED to do so.

I find it needful in asking the OP, what "his", or, "the" definition is of infallible, and inerrant is, before he gets my vote! :)

A better question would be ;
Is God able to supply his word to his church or people?

++++++++++++++Then++++++++++++++

When was it written?

How far back from creation.

Think about his word in the light of the day of crucifiction.
It had to be THAT colt tied at that house with THAT owner.
It HAD TO BE that man with a pitcher at that house.
It had to be that player Judas to betray at the passover. He HAD to do all those things, executing THAT DEED\S AND DIALOG PERFECTLY.
HIS CROSS HAD TO BE carried for him by THAT MAN.
PILOT HAD TO BE GOVERNOR
HEROD HAD TO BE KING
Joseph born and the correct age
Mary.....the same
Zacharias.....the same
Elizabeth.....the same
JTB ......the same
The other disciples......the same
....and on,and on.

Now think back. That means naomi HAD TO DO what she did to end up in Moab for her son to marry ruth,a gentile,to be Naomi's daughter in law, and the bizarre set of events take place to produce Jesse, the father of DAVID.
....And on and on and on.

I would submit to you,if ANY GENEOLOGY was broken from Noah or Adam to Jesus,or any flaw in events thereof, the ENTIRE DEAL would have been disruped and destroyed.

They had to do what they did and say what they said

ALL OF THEM.
IMPOSSIBILITY!!!!!!
COULD NOT HUMANLY HAPPEN!!!!

THE BIBLE IS ETERNAL.
IT WAS WRITTEN BEFORE CREATION.

This post about my post has no bearing whatsover at all on the truth of my post. Nor does it lay the ground work for some support of a translation/transliterstion of the word......As orginally written in Hebrew, Greek and what little Chaldean and Aramic is my reference...............nice try, but no cigar!
