What I think is that we need less Christian music, and more Christians making good music.
Most music sucks in every genre. Out of all the music in the world, I have only found about 3,000 songs I love and like. That's not much at all considering some that are great have over 100 songs. It's not just Christian music that needs good music, it's all kinds of music that does. It's very common you like someone's songs here and there, 1on this album, 3 on that album, etc. It's extremely rare you find music that you love all their songs unless you're like their worshipper and make them your idol. I think the case is most people have been trying to just sound good, make money, become popular, let producers and so tell them what they should do, copycat other music, etc. It's those who really put their heart into the sound and lyrics, that even it sounds bad in a way, something about it makes you love it because you get that certain feeling. A lot of crap music is popular because the popular stuff is usually the only thing someone knows, and people just push it out there for them to make money, on top of that, they make artist have to be naked, dance like perverts, say curse words, bathe in tubs on music videos, use their hands to symbolize the Illuminati and sing about the same common stuff again and again. I used to think that stuff was good and decent, but then I seek for countless years and found much different and amazing music, or so the kind that fits my taste. I would never hear it on the radio, from a friend or even in a store that sells music in our state.
