they certainly could not continue in that lifestyle and God does not see their marriage as a marriage
the Bible is clear that a believer should turn from sin and not embrace it
I don't imagine that would be easy but if a person is 'born again' they should have changed desires or at least desire to put the sin away

I think about how hard it will be since they thought they were Christians on the right road and in their minds they were in love and have a family loving each other...now to have to separate..and the kid involved how that would twist their mind... I know it is what has to be done...since they believed a lie...and try and turn from it is why I compared it to the rich man going to heaven..but I think this would be much harder.
just jumping for temptation ground yourself in the Lord to the point you have no doubt its wrong and when your understanding is understandable to you...to where a question like the one asked by yourself it will be clear to you..the answer..if you need the tools, read Proverbs 8 then you can talk to girls with wisdom and having to starve that idea from your head by separating yourself with the same sex and focusing on the Lord you will be stronger...put on GODS amour am/pm Ephesians 6:10 to protect yourself. 
I'm attracted to new car lots, does that mean I can go against God's law and steal a new car? Homosexuals are not the only ones who want what they can't have, we are all tempted by something. Being tempted is not an excuse to have what God does not allow. Jesus says if a part of your body causes you to sin cut it off, today we have surgeries for that. What we don't have is excuses to sin- sin is sin, and there are consequences- God disciplines those He accepts as a son or daughter.

The Bible is clear about this subject. Read Romans 1. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, galatians 5:19-21
And thats just the new testament, we all know what Leviticus has to say on it, dont we

I am also in a predicament with this where I know someone who is practicing that lifestyle, and while he is a fun guy to hang around with, I dont think its right either.
Its heart breaking really, what some people go through. ALL sin is negative, remember.

They would not stop of there own natural volition. In that way no one can serve two masters (the flesh and the unseen Spirit of Christ).They would or could stop if they desired to do the will of God. God can take a believer who sins against Him early .
The gospel can take away a ungodly desire by giving us a new desire that can please Him as he does work in us to both will and perform His good pleasure.
I would sincerely like to ask. Has the pray the gay away thing EVER actually worked for someone?
I understand its a touchy subject to talk about, but if someone has experienced it working, I would gladly hear your testimony, you can PM it and obviously its between us only, OR you can give your testimony here in public if you so please.
But I was just wondering, has that EVER worked? Im asking because I am assuming that gays feel the same kind of attraction to the same-gender as I do towards women. I would agree and offer the father of lies seduces men to believe he is the one that "brings about change". As if he could create anew to begin with.

Christ finishing the work as the glory promised elevates the woman back to the rightful place of her husband who represents Christ not seen.. At the same time humbling the husband to be one with his bride. Restoring its proper order as Christ loves the church ,His bride.
It must of put a wonderful effect or freedom for husbands and wife's to love in a new way as Christ loved us His bride the church.

The words above .Not made with hands is "the holy unseen place" reserved for the glory of our father in heaven alone.
We are not what we will be. It would seem to be the goal of the fathers of lies to create an illusion we are already in our new incorruptible bodies that are described as neither male nor female, Jew or Gentile but a new body .
Feeling like a person is a new creation is not the same as being one. The word marriage has left the chopping block what the next word to lose value in distinguishing the thoughts of God from those of men?

The scriptures define the word friend in respect to his own love he has for us .God is the standard.
Jonathon loved David his friend as his own soul . David is called a friend of God. God loves at all times. (no sexuality hinted)

Jesus defines a friend as those who have no righteousness of their own self but one imputed by the work of Christ's faith that works in His friends. to both will and do the good pleasure of the labor of His love.
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. James 2
A friend loves at all times but only God loves perfectly. His love is first and foremost patient as in long suffering so that it can perform another aspect of His love, it is kind. If not patient it could not be kind.... following that order to the end. Love does not rejoice in what God considers wrong doing.
You can be a friend and work as God gives a person strength to love.... regardless of what those that surround you do . Perhaps God's love will give you the peace to continue or the strength to look for others associate with as it seems you have by beginning your quest .
