Such an unfriendly and unengaging first post.
Not to mention a pointless question. Every Christian you ask will say yes, typically referring to themselves for starters. And that is regardless of how their spiritual life is.
Not to mention the term "real Christian" is such a vague and subjective term. To some a "real Christian" is one who is theologically focused and on point in every facet. To others a real Christian is more determined by their life. Or some may view it as one who actively "works" for their salvation. And that's just a few examples.

So as stated above by another poster, you'll have to be more clear. I've seen people call others heretics for disagreeing on the age of the earth. And I've seen people consider others Christians that include false teachings.

It's all so unclear.

Yes but there are few....

There will be Christians right up to the day of the return of Jesus.. There may only be a handful on the day of his return but they will be here.. :)

Diogenes was a philosopher, a rather dour one. He liked to walk around in the daytime with a lantern and act like he was searching for something in the presumed darkness. When asked what he was looking for he would answer he was searching for an honest man.

I presume he’s still searching?

I'm a Christian.
I'm real.

That is unless you take the Douglas Adams view of the universe in which we're all just figments of each other's non-existent imaginations. (But I can't imagine that I'd imagine something like this so it must be real)

Are there any real Christ followers actively pursuing Him? Is this your question?

Those who sincerely believe, who reach for Him, dying daily to ourselves to pick up His cross?

Yes, but even on our most selfless, most soft hearted days, we still need His Holiness. He is our hope.

Jude 1:24-24 helps me...

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Jude 1:24‭-‬25 NASB

We don't get to claim any Christ like ways, they are His. He is our portion. Anything of "real" value abides in Him. When we are being "real christians, we are so because we are abiding in Him, not in ourselves.

Do we live and love as we are called, are we even close? Again, I think He is able to abound in all grace, making us sufficient in all ways. But make no mistake, that sufficiency is His.

I guess Douglas Adams was onto something. Anything I have ever imagined is no more real than nothing. My imagination hasn’t even been able to establish a dirt road in the middle of nowhere Alabama. All my thoughts are null and void. My existence might could be a backroad in anybody’s mind. My life is simpler than 42. I need to make a reservation at the restaurant at the end of the Universe.

I'll tell you what. A genuine Christian has a peculiar albeit tragic talent. They can determine when someone is NOT saved. Very very easily.
