living single as a christian is a new thing for me, i had a gf and we had to break up bcoz of me being born again (i dont blame her).my real issues here is how can i stay without a girlfriend(am not ready 4 anotha relationship which will not lead to marriage).
i think am used to sex and am really struglling to keep myself pure 4 marriage, i want it to be special.help me out

You need to find a church of born again believers that has a pastor that teaches the word of God and the grace of God and can build you up and help you grow in getting to know Christ, who saved you and forgave you and cleansed you from all your sin. Put sex on the shelf and save it for marriage and go after God with all your heart. If you fail, get up and go after God. If you sin, get up and go after God. If you seek God with all your heart you will find Him because He lives in every single born again believer that makes up the church, the body of Christ. Old things have passed away and all things have become new for you. God has given you a new beginning so get to know His grace, grow in it and be strong in that grace.

You know wat chuya,God has a plan for you.The road ahead may not be smooth and you hav to hold on tight.As Blc said...find a good church.An to the issue of relationship an sex before marriage..try an find a mentor..one who is mature,saved and who understands you.An try finding friends who are on the same path as u..may sound difficult,but u dont want to have friends who pull u back to where u were before ehh.
I pray that God may bless you and be with you in ur journey.

Hebrews 2:18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

In this sexually hyped society in the media and advertisement, one really needs to lean on Jesus to not look at those things that sows to the flesh. He wil let you know when you are as the faithful Good Shepherd He is. What goes in the eyes and ears.. all depends on where it leads you... a covetous and lustful heart? Then we need to turn away from it. Trust Jesus to lead you away from temptations and deliver us from the evil one so that we will not fall into sin again. If we fail, ask for forgiveness and learn from the mistakes to avoid what sown to the flesh that led you to it.

Make no mistake. For a believer living in America, it is far more dangerous than it is for believers in a persecuted country for there, believers are on guard in keeping their faith and walk with Jesus.

Ephesians 6:10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

For me personally, I had to stop watching television altogether. Watching where the camera takes me in a scene is not good for me. Nightmares reproved me of the results of my actions whenever I start watching television again.

So whenever you are in trouble.... call on Jesus for help in your time of need and for discernment of what you need to do to put away anything that makes provision for the flesh to keep your mind off of it in this sexually hyped society. I find reading His Words empowers the conviction of sin.

1 John 2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Hebrews 4:12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.


Take heart of this promise in Jude as it is a walk of faith in living this christian life as stated below:

Galatians 2: 20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Jude 1:24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
