How Will We Decide Which 5 1/2 People Get to Eat Pizza at The Oncefallen House?

  • Rousing, to-the-death games of Rock, Paper, Scissors. (After all, you just can't beat a classic.)

Hey Everyone,

A while back we had a thread in which we talked about having a CC Singles Forum Pizza Party. In it, we were able to discuss a wide variety of important matters, such as what kind of pizza we would be having, where we would be ordering it from (or who would be making it), and whether or not we would bring dates:

However, there was one crucial detail that we never seemed to get sorted out--someone, I don't know who (cough, cough), suggested that we hold this shenanigan at Mr. and Mrs. Oncefallen's house. However, Oncefallen kindly stepped in and let us know that his house would allow for the presence of about 6 charming guests, but that this might be a crowd.

And so, because we wouldn't want to be rude, I'm narrowing it down to 5 1/2 Lucky People who would get to go to the CC Singles Forum Pizza Party Bash!

But with so many cool single people here (and our married friends), how in the world would we decide who would get to go?

I'll go ahead and start narrowing the process down right off the bat: Whoever qualifies as the 1/2 person must be 5 feet 2 inches tall OR LESS.

*Seoulsearch conveniently figures it's just a sheer coincidence that she is 5 feet 1 and 1/2 inches tall.*

And so, how we were going to determine which 5 1/2 of our awesome members will be selected to attend "CC's Finest Event of the Year?"

Here are a few ideas.

(I'm going to a create a poll that will be multiple choice and, just for fun, we'll be able to see who voted for which options.)

Feel free to add your own ideas as well... Just in case we have a few tiebreakers. :cool:

I'm allergic to dairy. Not lactose intolerant, just flat-out allergic, as in I get sinus junk, sneezing, sniffling. So I'll exclude myself from this pizza party.

Now if we had a chocolate tasting...

Anyone with special dietary needs or preferences is welcome to come and bring their own specially-approved or prepared foods... Just as long as they're one of the qualifying 5 1/2 people. :p

No way! Do you have any idea how much time and effort it takes a lynx to wash mud out of the fur with his tongue?

I would vote for Wolfenstein tournaments, last five players standing.

Since this is the CC pizza party, shouldn't we have a more Christian contest like winner take all Bible trivia? And no I'm not suggesting that because I have a reputation in some circles as the walking Bible concordance, honest.

That would be an interesting contest for sure, as I am also quite good at Bible trivia. I always know all the answers when Jeopardy has Bible questions. Of course they never have any hard ones.

How about sword drill? Somebody call out a verse and a group of people try to find it in their Bibles first.

So, hmm, what if a person (I’m asking for a friend, cough cough) is slightly taller than 5’2”? Maybe almost 5’3”, would I, I mean, would she, qualify?

And because I thought of this brilliant scheme, I think I qualify as one.... I am going to hitchhike with Santa's Rudolph, so you know when I might arrive. I will need to ask Santa if they Oncefallen and Mrs are on the naughty list first, though, otherwise my cunning plan will fail.

We can get free pizza so i wanna go and the hunger games is the only way to settle it. It's not like I'll hurt people for pizza or anything but it sounds fun right? Bible trivia? Sounds interesting but i wouldn't win cuz i suck at memorizing numbers of verses lol so no cuz i want the pizza.

The funny thing about this is that Lynx is one of the few people here who's talked to me while I was the midst of multiple conflicts (not always by choice, honest).
