Have you ever noticed that sometimes Christians, so called brothers and sisters, are more guarded? Why do you suppose that is? Am I seeing it wrong, just not focusing on the right enough? Maybe because we all define love differently. I think if we seek to ooze out His love wherever we go, with whomever we meet, it isnt always welcomed. I get it. But are we not called to be warm and welcoming in thought and in deed, especially to our Christian family? How can we be a vessel for him, if we are so consumed in suspicion? I am not suggesting that we are sappy and needy, though from time to time I can be both. I just wish sisters were nicer, more tender hearted with each other. I say sisters because I know we have to be careful about sending the wrong kind of signal to the opposite sex. On that note though, warmth and kindness, brother and sisterly love, shouldn't be misunderstood so easily. As I get older, guys don't look at me that way as much anymore anyways, lol. I suppose that is good, Hahaha, bless my heart.
Seriously though, to all of us, that are one in Him, without gender or anything else, let's make sure those we encounter never doubt that we see their value and worth. Treating folks, every last one of them, with dignity should be our norm, our first go to. Together, let's extend a little more love, forgiveness and appreciation, try a little harder; let every cashier, every waitress, every worker, every child we meet, every older person alone in the corner, and yes to eachother, let's open the eyes of our hearts and see how much healthy love we can give. He finds us all worthy to be His, so why don't we seek to see His loves through the eyes of unyielding mercy? How can we point to him when our minds and hearts are closed?
We are all a part of the portion He gives, to our loves, to one another, to all who cross our paths.
Ok, enough of that...clearly I have issues and need a hug, hahahaha.
I love you all... God Bless you and yours.
