If our posts are not approved, will they let us know the reasons or will it just disappear, never to be seen again, even by the author?

By far the majority of new threads are aproved. On the occasion that they are not approved usually the thread still appears but is inaccessible (the thread title shows with a line through it.)

I've had 3 or 4 not approved, and 1 taken down, after it was approved.

Yeah, it's part of his persona on the forum, kind of a running joke, that he thinks he is a player. Some of the people who know him play along because it's amusing. But for somebody who doesn't know about the running joke, it can seem creepy.

Ahem... Tommy, did you hear that? I said for somebody who doesn't know about the running joke, IT CAN SEEM CREEPY!
