Apparently Angels have the power to take on human bodies to interact with us. This is confirmed by this scripture

Hebrews 13:2
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
Also by accounts in Genesis. In Sodom men wanted to rape the "men." Also, the story of the Nephilim.

There is no such thing in scripture, or in reality. It is a 'dysfunctional' imaginary theology that came about through the "carnal" and "fleshly" mind in a complete misreading and eisegesis of Genesis 6:2,4, and expanded from there. If an explanation is needful, by God's grace, it will be provided.

What is your interpretation of Genesis 6:2,4?

Do you mean you desire the scriptures interpretation, since the word interprets itself, defining itself, line upon line, precept upon precept (Isaiah 28:10,13) as is made known in Genesis 40:8; 2 Peter 1:20.

If so, we can begin to look and see what scripture itself teaches us, if we are prayerful asking God for wisdom, since He it was who inspired it and can interpret to us.

Well, I just meant what do you personally think it's talking about. Since you've said it isn't angels.

There is not one instance in Scripture where an angel was allowed to take human form aside from carrying out the express will of God. Creatures procreate each after their own kind.

Another touchy subject with a lot of people. I am no longer even slightly unsure. Fallen angels had sex with human women creating a hybrid race, called the nephillim. The whole Bible makes no sense under any other interpretation. You have to disregard vast sections of Scripture and assign God as a homicidal maniac if His purpose in killing, and have the Israelites kill, every man, woman, child, and baby, over and over again wasn't getting rid of the evil DNA of the nephillim.

When a believer mates with an unbeliever they don't produce giants.

You would rather ignore Scripture than believe what is stated about the angels who co-habited with women before the Flood and produced a race of giants and men of renown.

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly... (2 Peter 2:4,5)

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (Jude 1:6)

Sure, would you like the short answer or the long detailed answer?
Here is a fairly detailed answer :)

FROM R.C. Sproul Jr. Sep 22, 2012

“When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”Genesis 6:1-5

There are several competing theories on this admittedly peculiar text, a few of them fantastic, at least one of them rather pedestrian, ordinary. Some suggest, for instance, that what is happening here is that angels, typically fallen angels or demons, are intermarrying with human women. My position is the far more pedestrian one, but one that carries with it an important lesson.

First, why I reject this more fantastic view. Angels, whether fallen or not, and though I am happy to concede they can appear in human form, are spirit beings. They have no bodies. Most of the time most of us remember this, though here some seem to forget. Because angels are spirit beings they are not equipped to consummate a marriage and to sire offspring. Demons can do all sorts of shocking and even frightening things. This, however, is not one of them. They can’t bring forth giants because they simply can’t bring forth.

When we consider the context of this text we can better understand what Moses is explaining. In previous chapters we are given a glimpse of two competing lines, the godly line of Seth and the wicked line of Cain. Having established the antithesis in the garden, after affirming that there would be a constant struggle between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent we are given snapshot pictures of each of these armies. We see Seth’s line about the business of exercising dominion, in submission to the Lord. We see Cain’s line dishonoring the law of God and making names for themselves. But the future is not mere co-existence between the two lines. The drama builds toward the great crisis of Noah’s flood right here in chapter 6. The great change, what creates the great downward spiral of humanity on the earth is that the two lines come together as one. That is, the godly line of Seth, the sons of God, seeing how attractive are the daughters of men, the wicked line of Cain, decide to take them as wives. The end result, however, isn’t mere dilution. It’s not that the now joined line becomes morally lukewarm, but that evil spreads, grows, deepens. This shouldn’t surprise as for as Chuck Swindoll reminds us, if you drop a white glove in the mud, the mud doesn’t get all glovey.

What we see is salt losing its savor. We see what becomes of intermarrying not with a different race, but a different covenant, or a different faith. What we see is what happens when we are unequally yoked. Nothing, of course, has changed. When the children of God find the world attractive, when we determine to yoke ourselves to it, calamity comes. The world does not get any better, but the church, no longer a light on the hill, becomes much worse, and darkness falls upon the land. We are no longer useful for anything and find ourselves trampled upon the ground.

There are two things incorrect with the statement made, and if you will hear me out?

[1] Angels do not "take on ... bodies". They already have them (1 Corinthians 15:39-40) permanently, see "are as" (Matthew 22:30), which is present tense, and that verse (and their bodies) ties to Jesus own resurrected body (Philippians 3:21; Luke 24:39).

[2] Angels do not take on "human" bodies, as they have a differing flesh or body than man-kind (Jude 1:7, 'Strange flesh" = 'hetero-sarx', and not "homo-sarx" (same flesh)).

I have an entire study on angels in scripture and hundreds of verses, but am interested in those who only desire to know the truth as it is written, rather than what others vainly imagine, or were simply told. I can also demonstrate the erroneousness of the so-called book of Enoch (which one?) and its contradictory material.

You don’t need the book of Enoch to substantiate claims of demi-gods. Whether you choose to believe what the Bible says at face value is up to you, however every civilization tells tales of men from the heavens, sun gods, star gods, Nibiru inhabitants, and yes...sons of elohim coming down co-habitating and impregnating human women. These offspring were unique in ability and stature. Elohim is plural for el (god). Sometimes it refers to God of gods but each definition implies polytheism. We do worship our Creator, Jehovah but the Bible at face value declares gods.

These men of renown, are the Greek heroes, and Bible heroes alike. Whether these gods fornicated or performed genetic experiments isn’t specific, but the stories of human women giving birth to hybrid offspring come from everywhere, including the Bible. If you don’t believe me, ask Jesus.

Even today with our technology we can make whatever genetic concoction we desire. The scientists put them together like legos. Whose to say the talk of alien abduction and experimentation is not a reflection of historical accounts. Think about it. Heavenly beings, visiting and delivering messages. That is EXACTLY what heavenly angel means, literally. By definition that is what elohim are.

The truth that escapes the majority of Bible readers is that Genesis is close to the Sumerian human origin story when you translate it without preconceptions. Humans were created in the likeness of the gods, to be slaves. In Sumerian, to mine gold, and in the Bible, to tend the Garden. Slavery has a bad reputation because humans have mistreated slaves and degraded them. In essence, we are all slaves, bowing to a master of our choosing. We choose Jehovah as our Master because we agree He possesses intellectual property rights to His inventions (us). We have faith He will restore us at the resurrection.

There is so many pieces that fall into place when the Bible is read as written rather than translated by those who twist it to fit their theology. At the second coming I think there is going to be many people thinking, “Huh, I wasn’t expecting that,” meanwhile it was written like that all along. By this, I think it may be more like “Independence Day” and less like a Renaissance painting.

Not scripture, and mere mythos. In fact, I didn't see a single reference, or any response to what was stated, from scripture.

including the Bible.
That is simply an assertion that was not backed by any scripture, and, again, there was no attempt at addressing what was specifically cited, and in truth, I haven't even really begun to rebut yet. I am only looking to see who is interested and will consider the material evidences.

If you don’t believe me, ask Jesus.
I did, quite some time ago. As stated, I have a massive study on the subject, from scripture, with hundreds of references, as well as the proof from the non-scriptural source, the so-called 'book' (there is more than a single source in it) of 'Enoch' (which it isn't), that it is in error and contradictory.

Let's get into this a little bit.

"Sons of God" - Same Hebrew term used used again only in Job as a clear reference to Angels.
Job 1:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
Satan Attacks Job’s Character
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and [a]Satan also came among them.
Job 38:7 New King James Version (NKJV)
7 When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

it would be ludicrous to think that the "sons of Seth" were there at the Creation of the World.

Jude, the Lord's half brother, identifies these beings specifically as Angels, and ties their punishment to the sexual sin they committed. They left their 1st estate, or habitation.
Jude 6 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 And the angels who did not keep their [a]proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;

The Greek word is "oiketerion". The only other use of this word is here:
2 Corinthians 5:2 New King James Version (NKJV)
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our [a]habitation which is from heaven,

As you can see, this is a clear reference to the Heavenly body we will receive. The ANGELS that fell LEFT these bodies, and mated with human women. THAT'S THE REASON THEY ARE IN CHAINS IN PRISON!

Angels can take on EARTHLY bodies, in HUMAN form. It doesn't make them human. The Angels cannot mate IN HEAVEN. There is no disagreement about that.

How does a human son of Seth, mate with a human son of Cain, and produce a super human giant? Unless we want to completely allegorize ALL the Giants in Scripture now.

Before the great flood some of the sons of God ( Angels ) came down to earth and saw the daughters of men and took for themselves wives and had children with them the offspring of these where the giants..

Genesis 6: KJV
1- "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, {2} That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. {3} And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. {4} There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."

The Book of Job establishes that the sons of God where Angels.. satan was once an Angel too..

Job 1: KJV
6 "¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. {7} And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."

Accounts of 'abduction' are another matter, and have several sources as foundational for the phenomena. Some human (governmental), some halucinogenic (drug induced, or other, lack of oxygen, or gas involved), some demonic (devils, fallen angels), and whatever else. None of that is germane to the subject of Genesis 6:2,4. Simply asserting it, is not evidence for it. True Heavenly beings (angels) would not be involved in the 'activities' associated with such 'abduction' scenarios, see Psalms 103:20. As for the fallen angels, they may and do cause deception on a massive scale (since so-called 'alien abduction' scenarios fit in with an atheistic, or humanistic Advent of something/someone (I know who is behind promoting the idea))

The word "angel" (malak (H), aggelos (G)) simply means the office of 'messenger', 'ambassdor'.

The word 'elohiym' does not mean 'messenger', though those designated 'elohiym' can be in the office of 'messenger', but do not conflate the two words.

'Aliens', are a counterfeit, or twisting of scriptural doctrine, a reversal of what is.

Sinners, are the 'aliens', the 'stranger', in the pure and unfallen universe of God. We (humans and fallen angels) are the wanderers, the outsiders, cut off from the continent of Heaven, so to speak, and Jesus came to bridge the gap, being the ladder.

Though there are unfallen beings on unfallen worlds, they are not allowed into this quarantine zone, this leper colony of sin (though they watch, according to scripture). Only the Great Physician, and the nurses, the ministering good angels (like Gabriel) of Heaven are allowed in. The fallen angels are stuck down here on earth, as per Revelation 12:10-12, and so on. None of them look like what people call 'aliens' (which is just deception), for the description of Lucifer is found in Isaiah and Ezekiel and in several other places.
