Someone should replace Ginsberg. I watched the news last night during the swearing in with the Supreme Court justices present. Ginsberg looked like someone in a nursing home that had been wheeled in position and just set there with a blank look on her face. Surely her condition now should be enough to require her to leave. And I have heard that the Justices are not appointed for life. Just until their health no longer enables them to function in that position. I think she is there.

Quantrill
Yes, there is probably a provision in the Constitution to remove a justice that can no longer function in their duties.

The only provision for removal of a Supreme Court justice is impeachment which has only been attempted once (unsuccessfully) in the history of this nation.

What happens or doesn't happen is in the hands of God no matter what it is. He is in control no matter how much we would like to think that we can sway things in one direction or the other, He makes all things work for His glory!
The whole situation with Judge Kavanaugh, guilty or not, is in God's hands. If guilty, the man will have to answer to God just like the rest of us. I'm not going to give my opinion on the case because it doesn't matter.

What I see is a group of people that I believe want to see this country under their control in order to bring about one world order and I don't see that God is ready for that to happen. As a Christian, I long to be with my Lord and Savior, but He has many souls left to harvest, of course the devil would like to try to cause more division and chaos among man and steal souls for himself!
I also believe that over the next six years as Trump continues his Presidency, we will see more of the same behavior and accusations from those that oppose our President, our freedoms, and God.

It is important to consider the way that God is working and perhaps just as important to see how satan is planning after each defeat. When you really take a close look...the lines are clearly drawn. What side are you on?
I believe the majority of us are on the same page.

I didn't use to give a hoot about politics. Always thought they were just a bunch of crooks. The last few years have really changed that for me. Although, I don't see republicans as saints or anything even close, I have come to see that the Democrats are totally against what is right.

I'm almost ashamed to say this but I am almost 40 and have never voted. Yet, I sit back and complain about all the wrong that is going on in America today. This recent ordeal and all the other things going on with the Democrats have been an eye opener for me. I think all Christians should cast their votes against evil, and now I feel like if I'm not voting against it then I am just sitting back and supporting it. So I'm thinking now I should actually register to vote and at least try to make a difference, and not just sit back and complain about it.

It sounds like you should register to vote today, so you will be ready to vote in the upcoming mid-term elections.... which are absolutely critical to the preservation of our nation as we have known it.

Don't talk about it, DO it....

I'm reading that the democrats really jumped the shark with this Kavanaugh thing. People are fed up with their criminal tactics and are becoming energized to come out and vote for the good guys. I don't recall the link but one said that upwards of 25% of the independents have switched their allegiance away from the liberals.

We'll know better on November 8th, but it's looking like whatever gains the dims have made is eroding quickly. Latest polls are showing that the conservative candidates have moved up as many as 10 percentage points over their socialist opponents.

The dims could easily find themselves on the outside looking in.

I find that both the Democrats and Republicans are hostile to states rights. Both parties are nagging about what they gonna ban or not. I don’t care what DC wants to ban or not. I care about what the state of Alabama wants to ban or not.

Unfortunately, the death of states rights began immediately post Civil War.

Exactly right. It concerned the Supreme Court before the War, the Dred Scott decision. And it immediately concerned the Supreme Court after the war, the Reconstruction amendments. History is repeating itself because those issues were never solved except by the bayonet. By force.

And here we are again.

Morning Joe: Kavanaugh Hearings 'Disaster for Democratic Party'
NewsBusters ^

Hey there, Democrat Senators Feinstein, Booker, Harris, Blumenthal, et al. Hope you enjoyed your time in the limelight during the Kavanaugh hearings. But sadly, dear Spartacus & Friends, the time has come to pay the bills—at the polls.

On Morning Joe—notoriously no fan of things Republican—there was consensus today that the Kavanaugh hearings have provided a "huge bump" for the GOP, while amounting to a "disaster" for the Dems. The comments came after polling maven Steve Kornacki reported that Republicans have moved ahead in four key Senate races: Tennessee, Texas, Nevada, and Arizona. Get the rest of the story and...

In context to what I was saying... God is in ultimately in control...and absolutely yes, of course we should stand for what scripture says is right and follow as we are led by the HS...I'm just saying God will let things be swayed or not according to HIS purpose.

Great artical - the Dims may have just shot themselves in the foot over this confirmation fiasco. Maybe even both feet.
.
.
Wouldn't it be a beautiful day if come the mid-terms Pelosi, Waters, Feinstein and Warren were not re-elected? Were that to transpire I think it would send a chill down all the Democrats backs. They may realize the voters are sick and tired of the circus on the hill.

Even before Kavanaugh was confirmed, Women’s March organizers capitalized on momentum built
during the #cancelkavanaugh protest, and announced another march to be held Jan. 19, 2019.

“Women are outraged,” Women’s March cochair Linda Sarsour told cnn on September 29.
“We will not go back, and we will not allow our rights to be taken 40 years back.

And this is what this lifetime appointment of Brett Kavanaugh does. This is serious.
This is a generational fight, and the Republicans want the Supreme Court, and we’re
saying absolutely not, not on our watch.”

Sarsour’s comment reveals the true reason many feminists are attacking Kavanaugh,
and it is not because of unsubstantiated 36-year-old allegations of sexual misconduct.

Forty-five years ago, the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that a woman’s right to
privacy extends to her decision to abort her unborn child. But this decision violates the
unborn child’s constitutional right to life, liberty and property, and many conservatives
want this court decision overturned.

The mere thought of a future Supreme Court justice possibly beginning to restrict
abortions has driven feminists and abortion activists into a frenzy.

The editor of a popular women’s fashion magazine published an article titled
“With Kavanaugh Confirmed, It’s Time to Burn It Down.” She condemned Kavanaugh’s
confirmation and ended the article with a call to action: “Some (male) people might be
concerned that women will foment the rebellion.

To them I can say with certainty that the rebellion is already underway. … The events
of this week only mean that it must not yet end. Our rage burns so brightly. I look out,
and I see a nation of women incandescent with rage. We will burn patriarchal institutions
to the ground. And I pray that, for our daughters, the blaze will light the way forward.”

The Kavanaugh Hearings Reveal America’s Lawless Spirit

If the Supreme Court moves to restrict a woman’s right to abort her child, it appears that
hundred of thousands of people stand ready to tear down the constitutional structures that
enabled that decision to be made. A spirit of lawlessness is burning in America.

Those who believe the Bible know that aborting a child is an act of murder. Exodus 21:22-23

“Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people,
they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths”
