We have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe, warns UN

The world’s leading climate scientists have warned there is only a dozen years for global warming to be kept to a maximum of 1.5C, beyond which even half a degree will significantly worsen the risks of drought, floods, extreme heat and poverty for hundreds of millions of people.

The authors of the landmark report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released on Monday say urgent and unprecedented changes are needed to reach the target, which they say is affordable and feasible although it lies at the most ambitious end of the Paris agreement pledge to keep temperatures between 1.5C and 2C.

So what are you going to do/give up to stop this from happing.
I'll bet not a one of those "experts" will change their extravagant lifestyle.

Seems I recall that Gore, and all the Weather Channel folks, Time Magazine, ABC, NBC, CBS and even PBS were telling us that by the yeart 2010 the oceans would rise so high that most of the existing coastline would never be the same. All polar bears would be gone. We would have shorter, milder Winters, and longer, hotter, drier Summers. Hurricanes would abound!

How'd that wee prediction go for 'em?

Oh, oh, forgot to add that ALL of these guys FLEW in gas guzzling Jets from ALL over the world to attend their wee get together, using God only knows how much fossil fuel, and causing untold pollution when they could have all stayed home and did a video conference
