Also, here's one of my favorite Bible verses (it's a command with a promise). I thought it might be helpful to you as you seek to put God first in your life. Just be careful to understand what the command half (our half) is actually telling us to do!

Paige, glad to see you coming back to God. Working on putting God 1st and giving him complete control is easier said than done? Well, then love your neighbour as yourself. That‘s maybe easier and still God will be your number 1
