This is a great way to start kids in life by teaching them how the Christian message is about life is all about sharing--a free-gift to offer our gifts for Heaven, community, school, family, and not to keep them all to ourselves, which is opposite the world's message which is life is all about receiving. Thinking back to the 2nd grade, that was one of the first memorable lessons bringing a huge collection of crayons given by mom-- the "mother load" of crayons! dozens and dozens of them... The brilliant teacher saw an opportunity-- second-grader would not share his crayons. Another "rich kids" student came into class with HER identical "mother load" of crayons and allows students to flock around, sharing them like candy. First student decides it's better to share his crayons than to be lonely hoarder of crayons. But, then crayons start to get scattered and teacher intervenes to honor the students sharing, but, also his concerns of not losing the crayons. The teacher made sure all the crayons were returned. These lessons are so vital to a child's learning. I remember also being upset that a garden plant we were growing in school withered. If I remember right, I think the teacher, who knew my mother, another teacher, came by our house to try and help her student understand that the plant could be restored to life. I've had some amazing teachers over the years who went above and beyond their job to help students get a good start in life, at least on their watch, even as far as one caring college business computer teacher calling me at home when I got depressed and wanted to drop out, and encouraged me to finish the challenging class, socially and technically, which I did.
Teachers already know all this-- how important these early lessons are...
Especially the Master Teacher, right?
Can the LORD be trusted?
Is HE faithful to His promises?
Over 300 centuries proves he is, and had a mother, herself raised to be a blessed daughter of Zion, who could teach her child how to faithfully follow God's love to the end.
My parents and teachers accomplished this--
