We are close to Jesus coming back for we are in the latter times, the last days of the last days.
God is going to end this sin business on earth soon, and the book of Revelation is a warning to the world to turn to God to escape that, and to reveal Jesus to the world.
Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Daniel did not understand what was told him, but was told to go his way for the book is sealed until the end, which means they will understand it at the end time.
And that is because many shall run to and fro, advanced travel, and knowledge shall be increased, advanced technology, allowing the saints to see, hear, and know, what the world is doing, and how they can come together which they will rebel against God acknowledging no personal God, but believing in evolution, and people can still evolve, and honoring the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power.
None of the wicked shall understand and will fall victim to following the world when they say Peace and safety, but the wise will understand and not go along with the world.
We are at the end time because we know what the world is doing, so the book of Daniel which talks of the end time will be unsealed, and we can understand it.

The disciples asked Jesus about the sign of His coming, and the end of the world, which means when Jesus puts down the heathen, and He said this.
Which the saints will hear of wars, and rumors of wars, and nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in different places on earth.
But how can the saints know these things, and hear of these things, if there is no advanced technology to know what is going on in the world.
Which when the saints know of things going on in the earth it is a sign of Jesus' return.
We know of WW1, WW2, and wars, and commotions, and all the hunger on earth, and of the natural disasters, that are happening around the world.
So we would be in the end time, the latter times.

The new age movement and their interpretation of the Bible, based on the occult, and evolution, and believe people can still evolve to be spiritual, which they interpret all religions according to evolution, which the new age movement is the future for this sinful world, and will lead the people who do not love God to the beast kingdom where they will rebel against God, and then He will end this sin business on earth.

The son of perdition have not come yet and there is absolutely no situation in the world for him to come.
My guess is that it wil require more than 500 years for all countries to unite, for money to disappear, for people to be totally controlled and without a possibility to run into a country with a different political regime.
Unless you believe that the antichrist will be a local ruler, for example in the "former Roman Empire".

People have been rebeling against the gospel since it was announced - it's a sign of nothing Matty.

Read your scriptures:
If you take all prophecy pertaining towards the LAST DAYS written in the scriptures and apply them to things that have concretely taken place, you will discover there are just a FEW prophecies actually left unfulfilled.
If we take scripture as the INSPIRED WORD of GOD, then the message is clear pertaining to those fulfilled vs unfulfilled END TIME prophecies.
It's quite clear we have the system in place for the MARK of the BEAST with credit cards being inserted into your hand through RFD CHIPS (this is the prophecy of not being able to buy items - food - medical - etc. without the mark). And obviously the system (how we buy things ELECTRONICALLY VIA COMPUTERS [NOW QUANTUM COMPUTERS]) (which leads us eventually to ONE WORLD banking - medical (universal) - buying) is clearly the BEAST. So both the BEAST and the NUMBER of the BEAST (RFD CHIPS as credit cards in our hands) seem to be already in place with nations like SWEDEN and SOON to be AUSTRALIA - SEVERAL OTHERS going to a CASHLESS SYSTEM.
Recently, Israel professed to finding a pure RED HEIFER to which they believe is a sign to finally REBUILD THEIR TEMPLE. This leads to Revelation's chapter 12 and the antichrist (who is most likely already on the scene but not yet revealed as the Messiah) (but Jews believe this RED HEIFER will lead to the revelation of their Messiah).
Trump is pushing for Kavanaugh because he will be the SWING VOTE to over turn Roe vs Wade in the ABORTION argument. This will lead to the inner collapse of the United States and open the door for ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT with Trump siding with Russia - China - Korea. Plus Trump recognized Jerusalem as the rightful capitol of Israel.
Look at nature and how the weather is like never before. The ice caps are melting and the water rising is causing tragedies everywhere. Look at the horrible things taking place with people murdering people more often within public settings. When I was younger we helped our neighbors...TODAY...it's a dog eat dog world and people are only lovers of themselves (THAT IS PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED).
Yes, these things could be just a coincidence. But the fact SCRIPTURE (God's INSPIRED HOLY WORD) foretold and prophesied of such events and things to come also makes the INTELLIGENT MINDS ask...is this a SIGN from God?!!!
We even have the NEW POPE calling Christ a sinner and failure and promoting himself as the voice of God (could be the FALSE PROPHET or ANTICHRIST)...
But if I had to give an educated guess :
I would go to SCRIPTURE and show that many of the things we see currently happening and taking place are found within our Bible as a WARNING of the END TIMES!!!
And when I think of just my own life span (50 this year)...I can say without doubt and hesitation THAT NEVER IN MY LIFETIME HAVE I SEEN WHAT IS TAKING PLACE EVER BEFORE. So, the fact that I know scripture and my biggest enjoyment of scripture is reading about prophecy and the END TIMES...tells me along with a gut feeling...WE BETTER TAKE HEED, BECAUSE WHATEVER IS HAPPENING NOW THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE, SEEMS TO BE A SIGN FROM GOD THAT SOMETHING BIG IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!!!
