Pulls over, and says…
Hey, I can see why you are going for a stroll, the weather is beautiful. You want to hop in, though, roll down our windows and just visit while we take a little journey through some nature?
Oh you have no idea how delighted I am that you are hanging out with me a bit. I notice the backseat is weighing us down, though. We might need to pull over and get rid of somethings that are creating a drain. I see our prides, low self esteems, self pity mindsets and guilty consciences are all using our energy, requiring our focus be on them, causing a distracted and restless fuel. I am not sure how to do this, let them go effectively that is. I think we should pull over and pray about it. U wanna?
Lord, take from us the parts of us that seek to diminish Your throne, Your rightful place. Fill us with the abundance of You, squashing any and all attitudes or perceptions that keep us bathing in our identities outside of you. Let us bring fellowship to one another that leads with Your agape love, not our ego driven ideas of love. Let our go to reactions and responses be filled with love and mercy. Let us not determine the worth of our love extended, allow it to be dependent on the actions, reactions and return of another. Let our nature become so intertwined with Yours. I am so sorry Lord for any and all of my fallen nature, knowing in the Kingdom of Yours, subduing anything and everything that goes against Your will, is our call, our expected norm. I praise Your leadership, and Your power. Help us to walk, always, in Your Victory.
Whew, I feel better, oh look they are almost gone, and in their place I see our Savior. Wow, everything looks so much more beautiful and alive, how freeing is His company.
