Homosexuals ARE discriminated against; they are only 2% of the population whilst we are 98%. They want civil rights and to get those rights, they fight back ... so would i!
What exactly are those civil rights?

Do you even know your own constitution?

The Southern Poverty Law Center is one of the most off the wall, least credible, most biased, agenda based, polemical, ultra left wing, anti free speech, organization in the United States.

At every turn they malign Christians and conservatives.

Social justice warriors have one goal in mind to dismantle the very foundations that have created stability in society, presently they align themselves with Muslims, but when Sharia law comes into its full expression in the United States than I really wonder what the SJW's will do, because while Christians have worked to maintain a traditional family unit, under Sharia law the SJWs will just be beheaded unless they convert.

And you have the audacity to claim that Christians discriminate against homosexuals!!!! why... because a pastor does not want to perform a marriage ceremony something that contradicts his morals. There is a world of difference between racism and LGBT rights but unfortunately you have bought the leftist lie.

And btw........ it is not about "rights" it is about...... "I want to do, what I want to do, when and how I want to do it and anybody who says I cannot is hateful and if they get in my way I will take them to court and make a big deal about my supposed denied rights"

I truly feel sorry for her and so many others of her age group that have been brain washed with this PC trash and lies, by all aspects of society, especially education and media. And so many want to remain ignorant. Even after showing them videos and stories of Christians being bullied, hated, and forced to comply, and acknowledge this sinful behavior as ok.

But Blanche has a much greater problem. She doesn't believe the Gospel. She thinks people can be saved by other means than Jesus. We love you Blanche. Jesus loves you. Please believe in Him alone.

Southern Poverty Law Center is an anti-Christian hate group. They have created a list of hate groups that includes Christian anti-Abortion groups.
SPLC is making a fortune changing the definition of hate and also targeting Christians. You will never get one of their faithful to see that. God bless you though for standing against them. SPLC is Satan's best friend. Marxist, anarchist, anti-Christian.

Agreed. And we should hold them in our prayers while God still has time to turn their mind around to righteousness so they stop hating the Bible, Christians, and God, and defend sin, immorality , and the right to go to eternal loss in damnation as a civil right.

It's the liberal mindset that is slowly trickling into control in government schools. And most universities and colleges now are really deeply influenced in that vein.
The SPLC spreads hate. Unfortunately, they list Christian groups that hold to scripture and refuse to concede homosexuality is OK as hate groups.
They're calling God in other words a hate monger.

And a group that has "Poverty" in their banner name is rich! There's something odd about that what with their celebrity donors and off shore investments.

You have a right to believe everything you have just said. But your beliefs do not make these things facts.
Christians believe the Bible. You have a right to not believe the Bible. On a Christian forum you do not have the right to condemn those who do, while you defend sinners who sin and are damned, according to the beliefs of Christians who follow God's word that is the Bible, having a civil right to go to Hell.
You'll look really bad for doing so in a Christian forum. But you have that right. And you have that right to be denounced and rebutted.
People who think gays are just fine living damned aren't their friend.
Running into Christians who love gays and want them to live in peace for eternity as redeemed sinners is an example of those who are their friend.

Obviously, you are forgiven IF you stop the sinning and if you experience remorse for the sin. We are in agreement.
I disagree on this: homosexuality is not a choice. Some believe it is also not a sin. The church is divided on this issue. I take no stand ... but I do take a stand on raising this particular sin to the point where it is the worst sin there is. I hear over and over again that all sin is the same and, yet, this sin, is absolutely hated and demonised like no other. I cannot deny what my eyes see and what my ears hear.

Hate has no place in Christianity. When I feel anger or hate, I repent because I know it is wrong and is, in itself a sin ... imho. I leave the judgment in God's hands. Let go and Let God. Only He can Judge.
Then why do you hate what scripture says when it condemns homosexuality, and denounce Christians who hold to those scriptures? And why do you defend the LGBTQ community having the right to live in sin and die condemned for eternity? Being you condemn the scriptures that call them sinners and their sexual sin an abomination, and that which, like all sexual immorality, when not repented of, will cast them into damnation forever.

And I challenge you to this. Without Google or any search engine, list the first five rights in the American Bill of Rights.

Next? Name a Civil Right Homosexuals in America are currently denied. Please be specific.

Everybody’s been given a free will.

If folks choose to be living in sin, it’s their choice. Everybody’s got a right to be living in sin.

God doesn’t force salvation on anybody.

If you don’t want to listen to His Word, it’s your choice.

The Big question, though, is, what is the biggest sin?

Being LBGQT or whatever way it is spelled, or displaying a total lack of decency to people struggling with sin?

I’ll give y’all a piece of advice. The next time you’re fuming with rage over some poor sinner, pray, don’t post.

This evening I'm talking with my husband about this and that. And he asks me, as he's just gotten in from work, if I've yet heard about this Transsexual that has now decided it is a dragon. This made news two years ago but it is being re-hashed on a Christian media program on radio. He heard it discussed on the drive home.

It in this context is not an insult. Rather, it is what It wants to be called now since it has come to the realization that not only was it born male but then decided he had a female hiding inside years ago, but now as that trans-female It has arrived at the realization It is a dragon. And rather than gender pronouns it wants to be called, "It".
Its name? Derived from a video game is, "Eva Tiamat Baphomet Medusa".

It has mutilated itself having its ears cut off, as you see. And while PJ Media isn't typically considered a viable reporting agency, in this case they're spot on. Because this is a true story.
Hubby said of this, the world really is going to Hell.
Yes, it is. And it is considered politically correct to grease the slide.

Beware those who call evil good and good evil. Beware even more those who call names upon those who recognize evil as evil and good as redemption from sin into Christ.
THAT is not a choice! That is demonic possession and sin multiplied. And that is defended by some as their choice.
Because in today's fallen world it's good to tolerate "It". But to tell It about Christ is intolerance for It. No dears, that's intolerance for Christ!

Shame on you.

2016 Transgender Man Has Ears and Nose Removed to Become Dragon Lady

From the article. "This is what happens when a culture rejects the Christian (and generally rational, even scientific) understanding of sexuality and biology in favor of the mantra "if it feels good, do it." Granted, the transformation from man into dragon is extreme, but can we really deny it, if we assume that some people are "transgender" and need to become the opposite sex in order to be happy? "

I've seen a number of cases like this where people have transformed themselves into something other than human

or tattooed themselves to the point where hardly any unmarked skin is left

recently, there was a male model who transformed himself to resemble a skeleton...tattooed face...he's dead now and I don't recall the details

hadn't heard or read about this one

demons having expression through human flesh IMO

mutilating yourself is definitely a demonic pastime

you have totally missed the mark and it is the Bible you have a problem with

all sin will send you to hell if you do not accept Christ as your Savior

read about God's wrath in Romans 1

I had not heard about the male model skeleton mutilation. I did hear about the guy that thought he was a tiger. He mutilated himself with implants and tattoos. Very sad to see him exploited by the media as he was featured a time or two for his strange behavior.
It was last year when I read he'd committed suicide. Unbelievably sad that he felt that alone.

I do believe it is demons leading these people to do this to themselves. God help them.

Yes it IS rage and the real question is why. We ought to pray for sinners and we ought to ask God to forgive us for hating. Hate is not Christian. LGBQT sounds like the right term, btw.

What you are seeing is severe mental illness. No one would have their ears and nose removed unless they were severely ill.

I never said that these people are not sinning. I have said that we dont have the right to discriminate and hate ON them. Not what Jesus would have done. For refusing to hate, you (some of you) have demonised me. Think on that.
Christians are not supposed to hate. I think my thesis that some (not all) but some groups of Christians simply hate gays for just existing.

I think America is generally the exception to the rule when it comes to Christians being able to live freely in their faith without governmental restrictions. When you look through history you can't really find anything but persecution for true born-again believers, even in Europe. The past could of hundred years have given some relief to us and I hope it can carry on.

Not true at all. I live in the Uk. Go onto my city especially at weekends and
you will often find various groups and street preachers openly and without
restrictions preaching the gospel. Using megaphones, walking around with
boards with bible verses displayed.

Only last month there was an organised gospel preaching and worship
extravaganza where different Christian people groups got together in the
middle of the city. The flags represent all the different Christian people groups.
Pictures posted.

Our church is rather large and the local secular and education authorities allow
us to go into schools and take assemblies.

The local Council also sub let part
of our church building as some temporary classrooms while they ate building
a new school. The students, teachers all use out coffee bar in the main church
building despite it having worship music and flat screen TVs showing various
christian programmes.

The Salvation Army regular play I’m the city centre and outside shopping
precincts, in the train station.

Every week in my city thousands get the opportunity to hear the
gospel via various means. Churches are springing up all over the place
with many overflowing.

My own church has a 1000 seater auditorium and we have to have two
services as we cannot fit everyone in.

Across the city over a 1000 non Christian families and their children are
visited and supported every single week. Families from the poorest estates.

There is Teen Challenge where the prostitutes and drug addicts are supported
and ministered to.

Street Angels on a Friday and Saturday nights where groups of Christian help
all the night clobbers stay safe. This is supported by the police who are
grateful for the help.

The key to all this is the churches working together
Instead of each fighting their own corner.

Such things are happening in other cities too.

There is preachers corner in London where anyone can go and preach the
gospel. It’s an old tradition.

No, I haven’t missed the mark. That’s nothing more than your opinion. Everything you have presented here is nothing but your way of seeing things.

You are not the one holding the truth, like it or not.

In the matter of sin it is all the same as regards eternal consequence if someone dies unrepentant.
Sin's however are not equal. Murder is more offensive a trespass against God's commands than say a starving homeless person stealing a pack of crackers from the free sides bin at a mini-markets self serve deli.
In matters of homosexuality in the OT it is called an abomination worthy of death. In the New it is an immoral sexual sin that will prohibit the homosexual entering the Kingdom. It in itself is a death just not that which was prosecuted under the OT laws. As in stoning to death.
I do not agree that homosexuality is not a choice. I spoke of two examples, one personal and one public, where two different women said they had made the choice to turn lesbian.

There is no so called "gay gene". So it cannot be said it is as innate as someone being born heterosexual. In fact, there is some documentation in clinical studies wherein homosexuals, male and female both, would share in their intimate early memory history when giving insight into their life. These studies were conducted to try and ascertain if homosexuality is nature or a choice.
More than one, as in many, men more so than women, shared they'd suffered abuse in their formative years. When their psyche was hard wiring to the nurture factors in their personal home environment.
For example, there were men that would share that as early as they could remember their mother was very domineering and their dad was passive. Even some would share that there was domestic abuse wherein the mother was the aggressor. And some even shared the mother abused them as well.

These type examples and far more and more varied, lead researchers in such studies to hypothesize that the nature or nurture question was a factor in the later sexual preference of their subjects.
And of course there are the medical studies that pertain to prenatal studies and the hormone link.
I don't believe we can categorically state we know what makes someone homosexual and what is not possible in that regard. Everybody is different just in and of themselves. For that reason I don't think homosexuals are an exception.

They deserve our prayers and compassion. However, they do not have entitlement to cause us to deviate from our faith filled understanding of how God see's them. He loves them. And yet, they are sinners committing to what he once said, a God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, an abomination.
Standing devoid of opinion as to their destiny should they die condemned would I think be one attributed to the Christian. Who thought staying quiet at least about the topic of this particular sin was socially righteous.
I can’t be 100% sure that being gay is a choice or not. Your thoughts on this matter in this post are interesting.

My personal opinion is that homosexuality is not in accordance with Scripture. Not only that, but the lifestyle is clearly risky and is to blame for devilish social diseases.

However, I don’t think displaying wrath, fire and brimstone will change things.

Again, I appreciated your post and will think about what you wrote.

1. You dont know how old I am. I am not brainwashed ... far from it.
2. Why do you diss education. I think education is very important. It informs how I handle all aspects of my life. My husband and I have post graduate degrees, as do both our daughters. No patriarchy here.
3. I have no doubt that Christians around the world are the most persecuted group there is. I never said they were not. This does not give Christians the right, though, to persecute others.
4. Ignorant? You seem to use the word alot. To be ignorant of Scripture is akin to reading it as if it were yesterdays newspaper. Not how it has been, or meant to be read, over the ages.
5. I never said that sinful behavior is okay. On the contrary. What I DID say is that it is wrong to stigmatize and demonise other groups.
6. False Gospel? The real Gospel is this: (my view).

1. Jesus Life: What he taught us to do and what we, so often do not do. There is no emphasis on his LIFE and I wonder why that is.
2. Jesus Death: Yes, I believe He died for us. He knew it and he did it anyway. BUT, jesus was also INCLUSIVE rather than exclusive which may mean that he will forgive those who are IGNORANT UNINTENTIONALLY of knowing him.

I know you will find fault with what I have said here or call me a liar, or say that I preach a "false" gospel. To that I ask YOU and anyone here : what was Jesus life for? Was to die for your sins or was it to each you how to live like a real Christian. It seems we thank Him for the former, and forget the latter, namely his teachings. They are paramount and yet I have yet to see a thread about the Sermon on the Mount.

The last question remains: will Jesus accept only those who believe rightly? Or will Jesus have compassion for those who do not know Him?

Now you can tear this post apart ... but you cannot tear me apart. I am speaking what I believe to be the truth about a Loving God. About jesus, his Son who had endless love in His heart for all.

PS: I am a Catholic by birth (hence faith and works doctrine) and now I lean closer to Anglican and Episopalian beliefs for many reasons.
