What I have read so far from him sounds very interesting. I disagree with him on the believer's security (he believed in loss of salvation), but the rest sounded pretty interesting.

He was a great circuit preacher and many souls came to Christ through his preaching. The Methodist church has long abandoned his soteriology and gone modern but by and large he preached sound gospel doctrine.

I have a respect for Wesley because he really really put his heart and soul into sharing Yah's Word. No person has every doctrine 100% right, but he definitly was a seeker and a servant...

I looked it up online and got conflicting answers. I thought he was an early evangelical, so when it got slow here I checked but there was no clear doctrinal stance I could find in a paragraph.
Nothing wrong with holiness. Holiness at one time was associated with the Pentecostal movement. Sadly it is not so today as worldliness has over run the church on every side.
