I have been a member and contributor of this site since December 2015 I have learnt a lot from fellow members and appreciate the discussions and debates I have had during that period. I have decided to take a break from it all as I find that the threads on offer recently have reached a standard that are painful to read let alone reply to, A number of long term members have quietly disappeared from the forums and I don't blame them.

For those of a fundamentalist persuasion which probably amounts to about 80% of the mainly American contributors I leave you with

* These books may be out of print but second hand copies can be obtained through Amazon which is where I got mine.

I disagree with two of those books just by reading the titles alone...

But I will miss you. I disagree with a lot of what you say, but I do appreciate that you don't usually get uppity about it, and I will miss you.

I don’t know whether I agree or disagree with you, but I’m sad to see a wise man leaving.

You’re right about one, maybe two or even several things, too many fundamentalists will ruin any party, and for some odd, unknown, reason, they are flocking to some of the threads here.

The last few months they’ve been invading threads outside their jurisdiction, causing ruckus and unrest in general😜.

So, here’s a piece of advice for all of us:

If you feel entitled to yelling, belittling, condemning, moonshining, censoring, pleading the fifth, are against/or in favor of guns, flat earther, dust sucker, Methodist, Baptist, gay/not gay, LBGQTETC, ginger or sinless in general...well...then...

Go tell it on the mountain ⛰ 😂

Well said. We all need to remember this . I am a work in progress.

Since when did it become noble to promote modernism and apostasy? Why would biblical truth make one uncomfortable?

What is Biblical Truth to you?

Quite a subject and not readily expressed in one post.

How does one explain the great contradiction of a perfectly holy and righteous God becoming sin for man who is completely without holiness or righteousness? Why would God die for sinners? Having suffered on the cross a most horrible death of crucifixion why would Christ offer to save those who nailed Him to that very cross? Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Biblical truth? God saves sinful men by grace through faith. Those who hated Him He has loved with so great a love as to pass comprehension.

The great mystery is why do men reject Gods great offer of salvation and hold their filthy rags as righteousness?

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
