Hi all,

I’m here again. So I have been struggling with intrusive scary thoughts... (death, funerals, all sort of stuff) even when I get into the Word I can’t stop the thoughts and I get very anxious worried and scared. I’m going to see a Dr. my mom and others stated that maybe I need to be on medication. I wanted a spiritual stand point? Would God give me these thoughts? Or I feel doom is about to happen to me.... I don’t like to speak nevagtively it’s like lately... I’m just at a loss.. I feel my mind is being taken over ... thank you all again you all bless me so much

Hiya
you shouldnt worry about these things. When did this start? God will not burden you with something like that. Looks like the enemy is trying to hurt you and take your attention away from God.
You dont need medication. I have struggled with this as well. You have to realise its not from God.
God died so we may live, not that we die. You shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord. God is with u

Two things that really helped me......

a. Do not worry about that which has not happend yet

b. Do not worry about those things which are beyond your ability to control

Good afternoon brother!

I'm sure you and I's circumstancial situations differ from one one another. However I've also been in the same boat with death also. The thoughts don't just dissolve but have lessened by a long shot. Acceptance is huge in my progress. Ive realized that if I'm doing right by the Lord then theirs nothing to fear. What's going to happen is going to happen on his watch. Praying and keeping my spiritual connection and taking steps to further my relationship is what I have control of. Using this as a key to understand that the fact your even reaching out is acknowledging you have a problem. In my case prayer and acceptance( keep in mind I'm still battling this day in and out) has been the only sense of relief I get. Which tells me that Faith is the answer. I'm human and still fall back to old, but the length I'm in that sense of being is shortening more I recognize. We're all here and if you need to talk more inbox me. God bless

this teaching helps me a lot every day, People will let us down, Jesus will never let us down, He is our hope and protection.
Just the first eleven minutes has many nuggets of his truth that will touch on how to become untouchable by the enemy.
I like to keep a picture of Jesus in my minds eye and a constant, without ceasing small prayer of communication with the Father while awake. If the adversary only sees Jesus who dwells within us he cannot find us.
blessings

All I know is that God loves us, nothing can separate us from the Love of God and all things work to good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.....the old saying...let go and Let God......trust him hecause he is the only one who is 100% faithful to his word and promises.
