I wouldn't bother with the Skype. She is fake, and will want more money with an excuse. Or just another excuse.

I'd like you to do some honest self reflection. This is your story in a wrap:

1. I've been talking to this stranger online for a week.
2. I've never video chatted with this stranger.
3. They have no consistent profile of family, friends, school, career that illustrate a sound history.
4. I've never met them in person.
5. Their electronica doesn't work consistently so that doesn't allow for a face to face video call.
6. They've begun asking me for money and I've given it to them after such a short amount of time for no good reason.
7. I've never met this person in real life.
8. I'm so ignorant that I come on to this site and make a loud "hear ye hear ye" town cry announcement call explaining to the ladies (who are looking on in total bemusement at how ludicrous you're being) that they can no longer message me as I'm so over the moon I've just met a someone and I'm now in a supposed committed serious relationship.

Your scenario would have easily been prevented by applying the lessons learned of a decent upbringing and or basic cyber safety classes that are taught as part of school programs. The fact that you've arrived at adulthood and have yet to open your eyes like a just born lamb is frightening. You're an adult, and it's time to grow up. Not only do you need to get out of this situation but you need to undergo a significant amount of learning and maturity regarding self respect, self worth, self esteem and relationships before you decide to board the next ship.

Yeah...after reading all of the comments...I take back my first reply. This does seem very fishy.

I'm not gonna judge or scold you about this, but just, please...be careful. For all of us.

no

what will be harsh is another 'reality' that ends like all the air being sucked out of the room

I've read the thread
How many posts tell him basically the same thing on here? 10? 15? Im sure by this point he gets the picture and doesnt need the continued beat down..HE needs to decide in HIS time..good or bad

He knows people care...but no one know his feelings n whats going on but him..so..let him do his business..thats all..

Yeah this isif this doesn't happen then it will be time to call it quits I guess...
Well the Skype deal didn't work but, she was for it and I actually convinced her to video chat on hang outs and she wasn't lieing her phone isn't working well for it at first there was just sound of some kind then there was picture but, super dark and in the top left hand corner I saw like a patch of ceiling or something like that but, she tried for five minutes and I kept watching and the screen just kept going dark.
I have had weird phones like that before that are glitched and barely usable I don't much know how she stands it I can barely stand those kind of phones only a poor person would hold on to a phone like that for so long.

I remember when I had the telephone WiFi so I was never able to hold a convo because someone needed the phone and 15 min went pretty fast. So the right guy was there but I couldn’t communicate how I wanted to. Do you think that’s a sign?? Joe fizz I know a lot about signs, that ain’t one of them.

It isn't a phone glitch. They don't want you to see it's really a dude.

Well to be honest I "didn't have a decent upbringing" so naw duh I'm practically a basket case wishing to be normal, my uncle was my father his wife was my mother my bio father rejected me as his son for all my life,my bio mother though I love her is an emotionally wrecked bipolar gullible harlot, and that's just a small amount of the crazy warped life I've had so can you see how things kind of add up that I would take a chance on a woman that may or may not be conning me?
Oh and being "ignorant" is bologna I honestly have known all along that she may be conning me as as some have figured out but, I have felt something that I can't overlook from her whoever she is and whatever her lot in life is I may be destined to be with her.
God once had a man intentionally marry an unfaithful woman and God can use "anyone" bad or good to change someone's life so I'm not brushing this off as "just another scamming woman" after all in grand design if God has chosen this for me then who am I to argue?
I have a say in this but, I must consider if God is molding my future for a purpose.

A person can log into Skype from a from a different device. Many local businesses have free WiFi, so she doesn’t need to use data.

I remember one night, my Skype wouldn’t work properly, so my husband (who was my bf at the time) tried all kind of things so we could video chat. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

9. When this character's presented image is searched for in google or reversed searched by any other means - a disgusting image result is shown in multiples. It's clearly not the real person, it's clearly a stolen picture from various other websites.

10. The worst part is, what they've actively chosen to present you with, this disgraceful image - is totally pornographic. I've chosen to overlook this because this character litters their speech with scriptures, so that must make them a christian, right? right?

11. I had no idea that images can be reversed searched/searched in and needed to be taught this as a concept and how it could be facilitated.

12. They can't find a stable enough phone/laptop/computer ANYWHERE to do a video call for me to be able to see them. However, in amongst all this, they have a stable internet connection long enough to put in a request for money.

The reasons are endless. How much more evidence do you need to break away from this garbage and realize you have a lot of work to do on yourself?
