Why so downcast oh my soul?

Just sad and irritable today. I'm thankful, as well. My dear friend went to the doctor to see if she had clogged arteries in need of stents. None needed. RElief of worry came at 7 p.m. Poor lady was there all day.

I'm on edge for no reason I can fathom. The weather hasn't changed in several days. It goes from hot to hotter to hot continuously. air isn't working in the car. That may be playing a part. I like the rain more than the sunny day. Sad, tired, downcast and I feel like I'm sinning since I'm not able to 'get up' in the spirit.

Lord Jesus, I lift up Student to You in prayer, that You would bring strength & peace within her spirit & may she know that Your mercies are new every morning! When those days come, when her spirit is heavy, I pray Lord that You would pour Your Grace upon her life, give her a heart filled with hope. Everyday is a gift from above, and every breath we take is a breath to be thankful for.
On a personal note....I have had some down days lately & the Lord has reminded me to have a heart of thankfulness in all things. Its so easy to feel discouraged at times, especially with so much negativity around us, but we are all overcomers! & Greater is He that is in us, then he who is in the world....Choose Joy! Here's a great song, that will hopefully spark the joy back in your heart from King & Country "Joy"

It rained for the first time in days or weeks...lost track. Praise God...break the heat

Let us be strong and courageous. It is hard to remain strong in some times, we are even tempted to be bad..but let us hold on..let us try our best to hold on..im praying for u.
