I watched the video and recommend it to everyone. This is really about the evil of religious organizations. Religion was invented by Satan as a substitute for a real relationship with God based on grace. This video about child abuse within organized religion could have been about many other religious organizations like the Mormons, the Catholic Church or Islam. And BTW, Biblical Christianity is not a religion, it is about a real relationship with God based not on religion but on the grace of God. It's not about what we do (religion) but about what God has done (grace). Is it any surprise that an evil religious organization covers up evil within it's own ranks. A Biblical Christian organization would have reported the abuse to the authorities for prosecution.

I just watched a tv report called No Witnesses about JW. Very disturbing video. It shows the stupidity of a biblical literal interpretation. CTV is a serious Canadian Channel.
The video i watched was dealing with the incidences of Child sexual abuse in the JW religious organization..

Not sure where your:: ""shows the stupidity of a biblical literal interpretation"" comes into it ?

Actually if the JWs did take the Bible literally there would not be a JW religion..

The stupidity is to use the bible to commit and justify evil. Do you approve their reactions to child abuse?

Bring forward the example of where they used scripture to justify child sexual abuse ?? I watched the video and never saw a JW bring forth scripture seeking to justify the sexual abuse of children...

Again i am not a JW and do not think it is Christian but i cannot see where they used scripture to justify child sexual abuse..

Sadly the sin of child rape takes place in every denomination, so it has nothing to do with the literal interpretation of scripture. Some scriptures are meant to be understood in the literal sense and others are not, this is why we rely on the Holy Spirit to interpret scripture correctly.

We shouldn't trow out the baby with the bath water, remember that God Himself gave us religion. Judaism was the religion of Gods people before Christianity superseded it.

The heinous sin of child rape and abuse has always been a mayor problem for every generation and it exists in every religious denomination and ethnic group. The Roman Catholic Church attracts the largest number of pedophiles and homosexuals, because it gives them easy access to children and they enjoy the protection of the Church's code of silence.

When the children reported the abuse to the elders, they didn't listen to them because the bible require more than one witness. That is stupid, completely stupid. Abuse one child at the time and you are a good JW christian. What is the difference with the sharia? Fortunately the organization will be charged for these crimes.

You are right child abuse takes place in every religion but this is not an excuse. As Pemican pointed out, this shows the evil of religious organizations. Jesus is not a religion but a friend who gave his life for us to make us free not to be raped...

I don't know of any outwardly "evil religious organisations" apart from the Satanic Church. It's not the religion that teaches these evil men to commit these crimes against children, they do it because they are evil individuals.

Yeap but if the religious organisation Do nothing to prevent evil then they are an evil religious organisation. There is no smoke without fire and There is a lot of smoke from the JW leaders.

It is certain there may be found disturbing videos on each and every sect under the umbrellas of Christianity and of Judaism.

There will be nothng distrubing found out under the true umbrella of teh faith of Abraham.

All blessings to all the children of God's Israel, amen.

That was not them promoting or defending child abuse..
You can declare that their way of dealing with allogations of Child sexual abuse to be faulty.. But thats different from declaring they are justifying child abuse..

Take it from one who knows, when people know of a pederast and do nothing about it, it is promoting it.

The large religious organisations have thousands of people in them, of them there may be a handful of wicked pedophiles doing their wicked things behind the scenes so the faithful worshipers don't know what's going on.

You can't blame an entire denomination for the actions of a few black sheep, it's not easy to prosecute these people. It's a long process and the law says that everything must be proven beyond reasonable doubt.

In this case, the head of the organization sent instructions not to report any child abuse claims. This shows an organizational problem not an issue with an handful of black sheep. If you do nothing about evil you are promoting it (as JaumeJ said above). You are right it is not easy to prosecute people. It takes a lot of courage to stand up and fight back the evil doers. I am so proud of them.

My Church is only a small Church, we only have around 80 members so we are a very closely knit Church. Everything is laid bare for all to see, nothing is hidden and everyone is encouraged to share any concerns or put forward any suggestions.

The law says that everyone who works with children in our Church needs to provide a police background check. We have never had any incidents of any kind in the history of our Church. Our Elders preach the whole counsel of God, most visitors walk out half way through the sermon because they hear "hate speech", in other words they hear about sin and judgement as well as love and mercy.

Our Elders shout out warnings about the horrors of hell that await all murderers, homosexuals, fornicators etc... most visitors don't like to be reminded of the awful truth, they just come to enjoy the music meet people and have a good time. They didn't come to be confronted with the awful truth.
