"On The Day It Rained"

"Laura!"

vile wicked perverse lips had accused
the young woman, who was to be his next victim.
She ran as fast she could;
even though the mud made her feet heavy.
The men followed chasing after the
young confused woman.

She could not understand why they were doing this,
and what they wanted, all she knew is that they
wanted to hurt her.

"Laura don't run I love you!" said the man chasing.
She knew this wasn't true, because of the blade in his hand.

"Time is running out" said the man slowly walking toward her.
"look at this girl, look at her sin...there is no hope for her." he mocked.
The rest of the group agreed in unison.

"take my hand and I'll make your end quick.." he hissed.

Laura had backed away to the ledge realizing that he could be right.
As she stepped back, she felt a hand push her forward.

Suddenly, a man in a white robe and red sash glowing brilliantly
had appeared and stood before her.

A powerful voice boomed like a super sonic wave, that caused
the rain to fly in the opposite direction.

"She is mine...she belongs to me."

This sound caused the wicked men to fall on their faces in fear.

"You have said so many lies over her...but you have no right, and you will not
take her away....you see one time in her life she truly gave her heart to me,
and I promised I would never let her go...she is redeemed."

"it's you Jesus..." she whimpered bowing her head. "I tried to be good...but
I sinned greatly against you" tears flowed down her face.

Jesus smiled gently and lovingly. "I love you...You just forgot who you are.
Let's go..." He took her by the hand and held her close, as they walked leaving
the wicked men in their darkness confused and defeated.

"What about the men...they will come for me.." she looked back.
Jesus gently guided her face back to look at him.

"I overcame this world so that you could have life and life more abundantly..
and I have a plan for your life, for good and not evil for a hope and a future..
just keep looking at me...and I'll take care of every battle you ever face..."

Together they walked through the darkness, but to them it was not night,
but it was as if it was day time.

They went on searching for more who would follow Christ,
and she lived happily ever after,
and when she went home to be with the Lord,

She lived happily forever after in a world where love and peace never ended.

Although I don't know if the story telling is told clearly or could be understood. I didn't really spend a lot of time on it. It was more...spur of the moment. So I apologize if it was confusing. Next time I write there will be improvement lol.
Actually she was running from judgement of men who wanted to condemn her to death, and Jesus had come to her defense and had rescued her from them.

I think you have a great testimony of God's love, and I'm happy to know that you relate to it.

Also wanted to add, that I relate to this character too, a lot. It's a great reminder that Christ is on our side at all times.

I relate to her too running from people and being found by Jesus.
