I am not wholly unsympathetic to their being some type of corrupted DNA issue with humanity. I have come to firmly believe, through Scripture alone, that fallen angels did in fact procreate with human women. The result of which were/are? an evil hybrid race.

That said, I do not believe we should twist, warp, or disregard God's Word to fit that doctrine. How the mechanics of satanic DNA in humans came about, and perhaps continues to come about, I certainly don't know, but Scripture unequivocally says that ADAM is the father of Cain. Further, Paul tells us that either we were ALL sons of disobedience, or at least ALL acted like we were sons of the prince of the power of the air. Whatever, or whoever that is:

Ephesians 2 New King James Version (NKJV)
By Grace Through Faith
2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the [a]course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we ALL once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by NATURE children of wrath, just as the others.

I've been reading a bit by this Murray guy to get both sides, and he doesn't look too good. Especially with the race and trinity stuff:

This from GotQuestions. I understand this is THEIR take on this guy, but they do show what Murray, and by extension his followers, believe:

Question: "Are the teachings of Arnold Murray and Shepherd’s Chapel biblical?"

Answer: Shepherd’s Chapel is a church/ministry in Gravette, Arkansas, USA, known mainly for its television broadcast featuring the Bible teaching of Arnold Murray. Sadly, the teachings of Arnold Murray and Shepherd’s Chapel are full of error.

Murray demonstrated the signs of a false prophet. He maintained attitudes that were disturbingly un-Christlike. Murray’s habit of branding everyone who disagrees with him as a tool of the devil was a telling sign of his theology. Rather than instruct or correct with love and compassion (Galatians 5:22–26), Murray responded with anger, aggressiveness, and secrecy, and he inspired the same contempt and anger in his many of his followers.

Murray’s teaching takes verses out of context, which makes it easy to twist their meaning. He talked about original Greek and Hebrew word meanings, but only when he could pick an alternate translation that seemed to support his opinion. When others questioned his conclusions, Murray attacked the questioner rather than defend his view. Murray came to the Bible with his own pre-conceived opinions and then twisted the Word of God to make it fit.

For example, Murray claimed that Cain was actually the son of Eve and Satan—the serpent seed doctrine. He ignored Genesis 4:1 which says, “Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, ‘With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man’” (Genesis 4:1). Adam was Cain’s father, and there is no reason to believe otherwise. Murray also connected the parable of the good and bad seed in Matthew 13 with God’s curse of the serpent in Genesis 3 despite nothing in the context to connect the two passages.

Murray taught that there will be no rapture, despite passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:51–52. As is all-too-common with Arnold Murray, he claimed that 95 percent of churches who teach the rapture will accept the Antichrist as their savior (from a November 1985 newsletter). In this way, Murray effectively denied the salvation of anyone who believes in the rapture. It is unsettling to hear a Bible teacher making such claims about those he disagrees with concerning a non-essential point of eschatology.

Shepherd’s Chapel also teaches modalism, a heretical doctrine that denies the Trinity. Murray taught that “Father,” “Son,” and “Spirit” are different titles that God uses at different times. As God takes on different jobs, He uses various names for Himself. Modalism was condemned as a heresy in the first few centuries of the Christian church. It turns God into a deceiver, because in passages such as Matthew 3:16-17 definitely describe the Father, Son, and Spirit interrelating to each other. How can the Father speak in the presence of the Son and the Spirit descend on the Son without it making it appear that the three of them are separate persons?

Murray also subscribed to the Christian Identity Movement, which teaches the British are the real descendants of the ancient Israelites. This movement has been the foundation, fuel, and ammunition for a great deal of racial bigotry. Murray denounced interracial marriages, an unbiblical position that itself wavers on the edge of racism.

In addition to doctrinal errors, Arnold Murray also demonstrated violent personality traits incompatible with the position of church leader. His lack of compassion and condescending references to those who disagree with him were the most noticeable sign of his instability. Christians should be wary of anyone who acts as Arnold Murray did and should avoid any teacher who subscribes to the unbiblical views of Shepherd’s Chapel.

Hello all,
So far I have seen judges on here, And nobody here has given one-bit of evidence that any of that is true, So far you have done what I did, You regurgitated what someone else has said. Especially articles out of the media, Like they have proven trustworthy at anything. If anybody should be judged it should be me. If you want to believe man over the word of GOD that's fine. But all of this is because of my shortcomings, so judge me.
also for trofimu
I can't give you any church acceptance, except the church of Smyrna and church of Philadelphia, study it for your self, No other church matter.
Sadly Pastor Murry is no longer among the flesh and blood. His son Dennis murry now teaches, But it's the same cause Gods word doesn't change.
I have an idea, we know that nobody since the beginning of time has really ever died, So we know that Pastor Murry is with the Lord as we speak, We also know that when the Lord returns he is bringing with him all those that preceded us.
Then you guys can look him in the eye and tell him he was a communist or whatever you think he is.
As for me, I will get better at planting seeds,
It sounds like you guys are saying I'm not saved because I studied under pastor Murry. Not sure though.

your thoughts
be back later have to take care of something.
Stay in his word.

I think you should align thoughts in your head into some order, because it seems to me that you jump from one to another randomly.

You have yet to address what 3 or 4 posters asked about Genesis 4:1. It says ADAM KNEW his wife and she conceived and bore Cain.
It does NOT say that Satan knew Eve.

I'm wondering if followers of Murray have been taught to ignore this verse. Yeah I read your convoluted post about Lord meaning Satan, but that post didn't address that Scripture says ADAM is the father of Cain.

There is implication that satan knew Eve. And there's always the chance they had a 3-way ;)

So that's it, huh. you never heard of it so it can't be true. it's automatically heresy
Did you really even give it an honest look.
Congrats on being 72, I feel the Messia will be back before I get there, the LORD returning Is not far off.
It is heresy because it does not agree with Scripture. Not even close.
You can not provide any Scripture that proves what you said.
Where did you get this. From a book, internet, or false teacher?

Sadly Pastor Murry is no longer among the flesh and blood.
Sorry to hear that, I have listened on occasions to his answers to viewers questions and while I never heard him speak on 1 John 2:27, If you know where one could find any of his teaching on this subject matter then I would appreciate hearing.

It sounds like you guys are saying I'm not saved because I studied under pastor Murry. Not sure though.
While I can't for speak for anyone but myself on your comment, salvation is not dependant upon who we studied under but whether or not our teacher was the Spirit of truth.

So how did Adam know his wife in Genesis 4:1 if only he was sent forth from the garden of Eden?

I'm wondering if followers of Murray have been taught to ignore this verse.
So who do you follow that taught you to ignore the verses in Genesis 3:21-24?

21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Umm... This is getting weirder and weirder!

Are you saying God ONLY cast out Adam, and presumably Eve and satan got to hang out partying and having sex in the Garden of Eden!?

No, that is obviously the fruit of your imagination since I only asked who taught you to ignore the scriptures of Genesis 3, wherein the context of verses 23 which records that the LORD God sent 'him' , not "them'. Moreover in verse 24, it is written that he drove out the man, not that he drove out the man and the woman.

So in consideration of 1 Cor 2:14, your reply is perfectly understandable.
