Let's see how many uplifting things we can think concerning our current table for one status.

I really appreciate my single life because...

1. It really gives me a great deal of time with my Lord, seeking Him to get through this life alone.

2. I get to sprawl out in the bed, taking all the sheets, and can go to bed whenever.

Your turn, let's see how many cool things there are about being single.

Dress how you want? You let women dictate your clothes? Not me. I dress the same no matter what. If a woman doesn't like how I dress we won't work out together.

One thing I like about being single is knowing God is grooming me...for who, that's the mystery, but it's a beautiful mystery :)

I like being single because-
1. I can do whatever I want with my life in terms of career, finances, travel and other future plans.
2. I can devote my time to God, my family, career and my dogs:)
3. I do not have to deal with insecurities and other personal issues of a man. :D
4. I am the boss of my home.
5. I don't have clean after someone.
6. I don't want to be a nag
7. I don't have to go through the emotional roller coaster of being in a relationship.
8. I get learn more about myself by being single.
9. I can walk in a crowd with the song in my head "Me Too" by Meg Trainor and actually mean it. ;)

It didn't seem like a contest to me. Is it?

It is nice to be independent, but it get a little lonely at times. Luckily I live with my youngest son. Even though we hiss and bite at each other occasionally, it beats loneliness.

As far as having a woman, that is not happening. As a hard-headed 72 year old, I don't think there is a woman out there that could put up with me.

I didn't do single well. Not a loner.... Dating a wonderful man now. Didn't think I could meet a man like him. I'm so blessed! But what I did love about single was enjoying learning to trust in the Lord that he was my source and seen what mighty things me can do that's beyond my ability. Now that I a have a great man in my life freedom doesn't seem important at all. I think God made me more for marriage. The neat thing is he has been here all along, just like the Lord told me he was. We have our moments of dealing with changes from him being married for over 40 years and me being single for 14 years, but on a whole we're bonding great. Working to please the Lord and grow in his word together. I don't miss single at all!!!! We're not married, but trusting the Lord to work that out in his time.
