Request for a new level of the relationship

So I don't tend to make prayer requests but at this point I honestly don't know what else to do. I am needing a lot of prayers for God and I to achieve a new level of closeness and love in our relationship. I have been longing for it and seeking it for so long doing anything I can to break though the barrier of our current level, I can feel the strength of the my desire and hunger for a deeper more intimate bond and closeness with him and to take up more of his personality and traits but it's like nothing I do pray or say breaks through that barrier no matter how much I ask him or plead from my heart I have even wept in tears from my hunger and desperation for this.

I am hoping that If maybe God hears the prayers of his children he will allow me passage into a deeper level of love and intimacy with him

Blain, my heart was truly moved by reading your post, but more importantly I know your Heavenly Father is moved with compassion & love for you, as there is nothing more precious to the Lord, as to see hearts longing more for Him. I know its a deep longing that we as Christians have daily, is to feel more close to our God & to know Him more intimately, to grow in His character & love, and be a vessel that Glorifies our Heavenly Father. I believe the deep hunger for God that you are longing for, is Him wanting to draw you closer to Him. His holy spirit within you, is giving you this hunger within your soul & its beautiful! The Scriptures tell us that the Lord satisfies the hungry soul! & He meets the deepest longings of our hearts. My prayer for you is that you will grow stronger in your faith daily, & that you will know the Lords love more deeply, and He would shine through you in all you do. Joy will follow!!! Hello, Blaine. It’s a good thing to seek prayer support from your fellow believers. I’m praying, asking God to reveal Himself to you in a deeper way and draw you closer to Himself as you lean upon Him. May you grow in the knowledge of His truth and grace in the days ahead.

Sometimes we are more passionate when we are seeking something than when we have it. Sometimes God gives us things more slowly so as to not extinguish the fire within us.

And sometimes the frustrations of wanting but not having make us quit.

I pray God and you find that right balance

Ya I have noticed this with him it seems like he gives us just enough of him at a time to keep us hungry but not completely starved but at the same time we can be like I need the real thing though lol

Like a child seeing his father again, who he loves, it is great JOy, to be bonded, en grafted, adopted by our Heavenly Father. YOu know Nehemiah got discouraged building, but the Lord told him get armed. Now we get armed with the armor of God. God's blessing to you.
