Some churches won't give you communion, if you don't sign the member sheet, not scriptural.

Rules, and home made bibles aren't going to roll with Christ Jesus. Either it's the word and the full word, or it's a different doctrine all together. People shouldn't be deceived in this, as Jesus would never turn away, there is enough rejection, cold shoulders in the society where things are being twisted, and so, man thinks or assumes he will allow it into other places. We are not to be ignorant, same thing as once saved always, not true. I usually have communion once a day with my family. I said the other day, we drink so much grape juice, that if it was real we be real winnows . Jesus said, "DO this in remembrance of me. " not a good thing to do to turn others away, and not dwell, and think of how loving our Father is, who gave us Jesus, as we sit and dwell in unity as a body in Christ. This is the work of the flesh, and not the spirit, to divide, and not to gather. NO such thing that you can't accept communion as a believer, it you want to. I think it is wrong and biblically unsound. We are ALL the body of Christ. Members of him as it says in the bible. To do so, is shunning another brother or sister, which is more valuable than a church member. It is not biblical, as it says, if you do not partake you have no life , for Christ is life. It is wrong teachings and scattering of God's flock as members and spiritual family. Growing up sitting in church, with my family, or being in church with my family would be very horrible to deny someone, or that family member who's visiting, on vacation, to another church, communion. I think it's very very ungodly.

REvelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears him, and opens the door I will come in and sup with him.

This to me says, you love Jesus, you want him, accept him, etc. then you are welcomed into his heart, and to fellowship with him. I looked up the word sup, and it means, sip, on liquid or food, and to be in close communion, as a friend.

Not alone. I was recently wanting to attend an eastern orthodox church, for one reason because I know they do communion regularly (I rarely see it done in most churches I've visited). Nope. They only allow it for members of the church.

That would make it easy though wouldn't it? To walk out and kick the dust from one's feet having encountered that ultimatum? My best friend moved across the country last summer. There was a church near her that she noticed was filled to overflow in the parking lot each Sunday and that made her think to go for a visit and see how it fit.

Long story short, after her third Sunday she was asked by the assistant pastor about her visits of late. And if she was looking to join the congregation. Yes, she was considering it.
Then he told her that they have an application process. This included her providing a copy of her W-2. That way, per this assistant pastor, the individual members tithing could be certain to be in keeping with the scriptures.

Terrible, terrible. These are the last days.
