I truly didn't know folks lived like that. I have been married and I do have children. (Fixin to have my first grandbaby 😀). Since being single. I didn't have as much freedom having my children. But I still took time to discover me. Travel, move, buy the truck I wanted. Learning (me) again and not (we). I do pray over 99.9% of my decisions. And, Yes I pray for a future mate. But for me and that future mate I need to live, learn, and grow. Every time my son calls me, he asks, "mom what did you do for you this week". See before, my life was my family. And they still are apart of my life. I am just getting to learn a new me. Getting to explore ones self, grow, heal, and live life. Now that is awesome. I just survived before.
Seek the Lord in all we do, love, live and grow. Then when Mr/Ms right comes along. We will be ready for a strong healthy relationship.
My friend as far as putting things on hold in case Mr. Right comes tomorrow. To me, that seems like a sad life. We are not promised tomorrow. But we each make our own choices and live the best we can. Hoping for love and friendship to encourage and support each other.

Just marry a guy who has a king sized bed. In fact, that should be a requirement on your online dating profile.
I was unaware that I had an online dating profile. This is either vicious slander  or one of the alternate versions of me in an alternate reality has figured out how to travel to other realities and is trying to "help" me ( and how much do I trust an alternate version of me to make decisions for my version of me).

If you can handle disappointment, and blows to your self esteem, I highly recommend online dating.

Most on the internet are liars. When you meet them, they look nothing like their photo.

Disappointment, blows to my self esteem, and the opportunity to be thrust into high pressure situations to compromise my values.... I can't understand how I don't have a dozen online dating profiles already :p

I once had 15. When my ex remarried, I was looking to 1up her. After going on a few dates from online, I swipe left.

I think it's cool to figure out what you like, which isn't always the same as what you think. If you get married to "the one" after waiting forever, you'll have no experience and may not recognize a bad candidate before it's too late. Be choosy but do make a choice if that's what you want lol
