Can't be done unless you were to create a custom avatar via photo processing software.

I don't think so, just go to your photo up in the blue margin at the top. Or should I say big red dot?

I did and I went to my profile page but can't find anything that sys avatar. Thanks for the reply. let me know if I'm missing something.

put your little arrow right in the circle and edit avatar will appear. click it and use custom avatar will appear then you can search your photos I think they have to be 400 x 400 to upload

It's not on your profile page, it's in the account settings.
