That is a great quest... Why do Muslims give false starts to Christians, like they believe in Torah?

I think one of the main ideas that should be taken under consideration is what life attest to. The most important thing in life for atheists, Christians, and Muslims is the connections we have with our families and friends, or in one word love. If we examine the Muslims version of God versus the Christian's we see a huge difference. Jesus Christ is so personal and relational in that He comes in to our problems in being a man and saves us from them as God. The entire old testament is centered around the theme of sacrifice an unblemished animal for sins and the coming Messiah as liberator. Muslims believe in the Torah then I hope they will look all the foreshadowing that occurs in the bible pointing to Jesus Christ as God and savoir. I hate to say this but the bible warns about this very happening in Gal 1:8 "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a divine curse," and 2 cor 11:14 "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." This is almost a prophecy of what happened to Muhammad. An angel my have spoken to him, but if one did, it was not from heaven. I love and respect all Muslims and hope that even with our disagreements we can still joke around, be friends, yet hold to the truth without question.

Are you trying to convert me? I am a Messianic Jew do you want to be my friend and come to Passaic? Who is Messiah? .... Only ONE!!!!! Yeshua or muhammad...

Vashweb2, I really appreciate your evangelical approach to winning Muslims. Americans are so brainwashed about how the "majority" of Muslims, are evil, violent members of ISIS.

I have known many Muslims, and I have had them witness to me, about the Qur'an being the next revelation, and Muhammad is his prophet. Etc. It is good to have some tools to share the gospel with them. I have heard there is an awakening among Muslims and many are coming to Christ. They have dreams and/or visions, and then a Christian explains what the gospel is. And then God saves them, when they hear the Word.

How sad so many are in places where they can share with ordinary, kind, Muslims, and choose to believe untrue media propaganda, instead of relying on God to lead and guide them, and keep them safe. There is just something so unbiblcal about people who want to shut out an entire religion from hearing the gospel, because they believe the lies of ISIS, being fed to the American people by their own media.

Thanks for posting!

PS. No, we are not anti-Muslim as much in Canada, although anti-immigration in some cases. I had a professor of World Religions in seminary, and he was a missionary to Muslims and headhunters in Indonesia. He had amazing stories to tell about how the tribes came to Christ, but also the Muslims. He was Reformed, and just obeying God as to where to be to share the gospel.

According to muhammad, both the torah and gospel are from allah. And yet the quran completely contradicts the gospel.

If allah cant preserve the gospel, why should we care wheter or not muslims claim the torah?
That is a great question.... The Gospel rises and falls on Torah... So should Christians not know and understand Torah to "debate" Muslims?

Paul said I should be all things to all people and G-d created the muslims, in fact they are our 1/2 brothers and sisters (to be whatever....) literally and 100% in the full scale of things; should we should be invested in the Word and in them!!!

Many Muslims can appear to be nice, but what happens in a holy war, for who will they side with which most likely will be the holy war on the side of Islam, and not being neutral.

And many people who have ill intentions in their nations towards other nations will be kept at bay because of modern day weapons, and the world knows about each other, so they can appear as not that threatening, but it is because the odds are against them.

And in America they are not going to act up for the most part, and again if a holy war will they not be for it, neutral, side with America, or side with Islam.

And there will be a holy war against Islam and the world in the future, in which Islam fights with 200,000,000 men, which they are devastated in their nations by nuclear weapons, and that war is what will trigger the accepting of the New Age Christ, man of sin, the beast kingdom as the solution to have peace on earth.

That is a big army that they fight with and that is only men, and if the Quran teaches violence, then will they not side with that violence when it gets down to the nitty gritty.

Sure they will appear to be pleasant, and nice, and non threatening among many of them, but when push comes to shove which the world pushes them in to warring with the world, for it is international law that evolution is standard religion, and people can still evolve, which is the reason they want to produce the New Age Christ, the final teacher in the evolutionary process, they will war with an army that is massive like a big dog, which appears they might all support Islam and are not neutral at that time.

But then again we cannot really base it on that war that they will support violence when it comes down to it, for the world is not allowing them to extend their religion, and it is a hate crime to do so, and international law, which the Arab governments will come together along with the world, but the people of those countries will rebel against the world.

People will support their nation, and religion, before anything else, and how many Muslims actually turn to Jesus, and Christianity, and forsake Islam, which if the religion of Islam calls a holy war and fights, they will support Islam over the people they fight against no matter how pleasant and nice they appear to be now.

Niceness, and claiming non violence does not mean anything when their religion actually has to fight a major war against someone else, for then they will side with Islam for they do not want to see the Muslims get defeated.

Even people that claim non violence in America, and pacifists, against war, that is not an Arab, if a 50,000,000 men army attacked them, and with major weapons, those pacifists would say shoot them son of a beaches down.

People can claim being a pacifist, and against war, and non violent all day long, but if they are threatened to a high degree, their life, and family, and the country is in dire straits of being defeated big time to cripple them severely, and loss of many lives, millions of lives, we will see how many people are pacifists then, and against war, which I am thinking zero.

So if Islam is involved in a major scuffle that has to do with the eliminating of their God by international law, and cannot extend their religion, and cannot preach it, and they react to it and the only way they feel they can react because the world is breathing down their back is to war against the world, for it is the only way to defend their way of life, and defend their God, how many are going to be non violent then.

I am thinking zero, for everybody defends their country, their people, ethnic group, their religion, above all else.

Oh look we are non violent, big threat comes, take those mothers out pronto, so much for non violent, for it does not exist unless you are truly a child of God, for He has your back and all things in His control, and you know you are alright and the saints no matter what goes down on this earth, which is why the saints are never to fight physically.

If China went against India and was armed to the teeth by America, and will wipe out every man, woman, and child, in that country, eventually with no doubt, and Gandhi was still alive would he say people of India do not fight back but let them wipe us out where we do not exist anymore for we must be non violent, and take it without retaliation.

I am sure Gandhi would say get them bastards and fight, fight, fight, for there is no such thing as non violent in the world, maybe for individual life, maybe for a few more, but never for a whole country, or religion.

So those in Islam that say they are non violent will be violent when that day comes, and support Islam big time in it's violence.

But then again people might think they are justified for doing so at that time because of the threat, but I am pointing out there is no supporting non violence in the world in every circumstance, for they are of the world.

So if they say when in that circumstance they are justified, still all their non violent ways mean nothing at that time, and they will fight and support, no matter what people say about it.

So will Buddhists, so will any nation, ethnic group, and religion, and also hypocrites in Christianity.

So no matter what people think about it they will still fight and support if the situation arises.

But this is more many are non violent now because there is no threat, but most people are like that when there is no threat, but if a threat then non violence goes out the door.

Does the Qur'an teach Muslims to believe in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel?

If so, why don't Muslims accept the Bible?

The Qur'an commands Muslims to believe in the revelations given to all of God's prophets. These prophets include Moses, David, and Jesus (peace be upon them). Muslims must believe in the revelations received by such prophets. Books associated with them are called by the names Torah, Psalms, and Gospel. Muslims, therefore believe in the original Torah, Psalms and Gospel.

The Bible contains books by the same names and other books besides. Muslims are not commanded to believe in the other books. To be more specific, the Bible contains 66 books in the Protestant version, and 73 in the Catholic version. In the Bible, consisting 66 or 73 books, the Torah is represented as 5 books, the Psalms as 1, and the Gospel in 4 versions. This makes a total of 10 books within the Bible. Muslims are not required to believe in any more than the ten books. But that assumes that the 10 books referred to are the same as what the Qur'an refers to when the Qur'an speaks of the Torah, Psalms and Gospel.More @ Islamcan.com

Islam is a terrorist cult. There has never been peace in Islam since the day it was born. And its inventor Muhammad was a savage and a pedophile. He married one of his wives when she was but six years of age. Aiysha. They consummated the union when she was nine.
Islam is Islam. There is no such thing as peaceful Islam and radical Islam.
This is a great read. If your library does not carry it see if they have an Inter-library Loan program. That is where libraries share collections with one another across the U.S.
In eastern countries many Muslims are not aware of the full content of Islams beliefs. They're taught about Islam. They don't actually read the Qur'an so as to learn for themselves.

Remember the "refugees" that were taken in by western nations? Islam does not teach ecumenism, ie. living peacefully one among the other in a diverse society. This woman is a former Muslim who has committed her life to speaking the truth about Islam at the risk of being murdered in the name of the so called religion of peace. It is not a religion! It is a political Ideology. In America that means it is not protected under our first amendment.

Remember actor Ben Affleck when he defended Islam on a late night talk show and proved he knew nothing about Islam? Don't ever believe the propaganda that claims the so called radical Muslims are a "minority" number. Do the math. That's not only not true, but if it were it is still a hugely frightening number. Then remember American presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton joined her allegiance to her Muslim boss so as to further the propaganda of Islam. In an intention to promote that political ideology and further impact America and our allies. She was defeated. By the grace and will of the one and only God. :)

It's good to be a friendly towards muslims, Indeed we Christians should love even our enemies.. But a devout muslim can never be a friend of a Christian or a Jew because if they ever do then they are transgressing the Quran ((and are deemed unbelievers by it)) which they believe is the world of allah..

Qur’an 5:51
O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he among you that turns to them for friendship is of them.

I know there ARE people out there who soeak about muslim people like thia, but for the most part, I believe when people say this, they arecl confusing the doctrine with the people.

I believe its totally acceptable to share the calls to violence in Islam, because its so far removed from the teachings of Christ, and many former muslims claim that seeing these things helped them come out or islam.

I deal with criticisms of Christianity on a daily basis, and I am not so negatively affected that I cant deal with life. Criticizing islam will not destroy the lives of those who follow it.

Muslims believe that by following muhammad, they are following Christ. I want them to know that Christ and muhammad are not the same in any way.

Bro do some research, pedophilia was and is everywhere and there hasn't ever been peace in Christianity either (recall the crusades and Christian persecution of all indigenous belief systems in Europe and the Americas.)

My understanding is that Christ has not called us to be callous to other religious traditions. As a matter of fact I don't believe that the best representation of the teachings of Christ would be represented by a religion per say.

You are not going to win the hearts of people by telling them why their religion is wrong. You are going to win the hearts of people by "wearing your candle" with the virtue and discretion you show in your own life. If more people applied their energy to living the Way rather than pointing out why their ideas are right and another's ideas are wrong, we'd all be in a better place.

Here's the problem. We know that in the last days a false religion will produce the anti-Christ and false prophet. Most people think they will come from Rome. I'm convinced they will come in Islam.

Approximately half of Islam is either radical or jihadist/Islamist. Their religion of full of murder, the rape and
oppression of women, child rape, beheadings, suicide bombings, and unimaginable atrocities. Islam will bring the world into tribulation and the ultimate return of Jesus Christ.

The bible is full of warnings about this evil religion.

First of all those atrocities are acts of pure evil. There is no arguing this.

Christ's way is not for those that know the way and live peacefully and without reproach in this world. He came to "bring sinners into repentance". Sinners like those that use religious dogma to justify their unholy ways. Even the worst sinner in this world is not exempt from the possibility of his salvation. Who needs mercy? Those that do not deserve it.

I wait for the last days in longsuffering and Faith as well. My reproach to you is that a man is better off trying to live "being Blameless" and Faithfully than trying to identify the agents and timing of satan's final attack. Believe me, trying to live according to the way Christ instructs is more than enough to call down the agents of the enemy on your life.

I've been criticized by many for my zeal to understand prophecy. If it wasn't important for us to understand it, there wouldn't be entire books like the Revelation devoted to prophecy. About 1/3 of the bible is prophecy, and God wouldn't have chosen so many prophets if prophecy wasn't so important. Prophecy leads people to Christ as it proves God's existence through His foreknowledge.

There's more to learn in God's Prophetic Word than identifying the agents of evil, it goes far beyond that. We are not all called to do the same things for the Lord. We all have different callings as servants of Christ. I just try to understand His Word and the seasons, I don't do time lines.

There are about 31,000 verses in the bible, in one way or another about 10,000 of them deal with prophecy. There are over 100 verses claiming Christ second advent and return to earth. There are only a handful of verses that prophesy his first advent. For some reason, God found it necessary to use prophecy as a means of attracting people to Him in the last days.

Well since you are the first prophet in 2000 years, let me repent my ways. Let us soldiers of Christ raise up ourselves in these the final days and denounce the devil's religion, Islam.

10 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. 11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
Ishmael is the firstborn from Abraham, Muhammad comes from that line.

Atheism and agnostics are all around. Everything they believe is contrary to the word, yet we work with them and are friends with them. Please forgive me for saying this but I feel that I mean it: if I had a choice to chose between living next to a Muslim or an atheist, I would chose a Muslim. Muslims believe in Jesus Christ and the teachings of the gospel although they are terribly mistaken about its interpretation. Quran chapter 5 verse 46 states this "And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous." They do believe in a false interpretation in their Quran, but they cannot reject what the bible says about Jesus, their book tells them that right here.

I'm sorry but Muslims do not believe in the Jesus of the Bible. They do not believe He was the Son of God,they do not believe He died and rose again. They simply do not believe. And unless you know what they do believe you can never share the Gospel with them. So be sure you know your facts first.
