Hi Heather, praying for you, for Steven (and for your marriage, of course).

It's tough sometimes, so be patient/hang in there, fully hoping in/trusting the One who saved you and loves you so, the One who promised to see us safely through the rough patches of life to far greener pastures than we have ever known before (or could have imagined :)) .. e.g. Romans 8:28; Philippians 1:6, 2:13.

~Deut
p.s. - our marriages are often good spiritual indicators of where are walks are before God as individuals (either the husband's, the wife's .. or both). Have you guys taken this up with your pastor yet? If not, I'd recommend doing so as pastors are normally very helpful with things like this, and he can be praying for you and your marriage as well then .. Hebrews 13:17.

Holding you and Steven in prayer.

Jesus Christ is the solution for mankind - there is no other! It takes the Power of God to set the captive free. The Believer Faith must be placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Cross to enter into the Lord's rest. Many bypass the Cross for their solutions and Grace is cancelled. These problems we face are too severe to be talked out of anybody. Bondage can be broken only by the Power of God. This is why Jesus had to come from Heaven and die on the Cross in order that the power of sin may be broken. Sin has a power behind it and his name is Satan. If we don't enter into the Lord's rest we die in the wilderness.

I can't fix it - but the Cross can!
I can't change it - but the Cross can!
Release it to the Lord. Faith in the Cross brings Grace.

Narrow is the way. When your facts meet the Truth (Jesus), your facts will turn to Truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

It’s hard I know. I was sure my marriage was over less than six months ago. I was with my wife physically, but mentally gone. I was actually looking for houses ready to put in offers. I’m surprised we bounced back, but we did. There’s always hope, but there needs to be communication.

Dear Gracious Heavenly Father, we lift up this marriage to you and ask you to hold them in your comforting hands,
I don't know your situation so it wouldn't be right for anyone to give you advice. we do give you prayer. A marriage may be broken but it can be healed. There was a reason you got married you just need to find it. Maybe there was something missing from the start or he just got put on the shelf because of other things. The thing that saved my marriage was GOD. On my knees praying, yes he answered my prayer but we had to continually make him part of our life. Holding hands and saying the blessing at dinner to going to church on Sunday. You have to understand each other, if you can, pray together. It didn't work at my house but talking to each other is important. GOD doesn't want broken marriages so you have to be confident there is hope, Don't give up but wait upon the lord. I hiope the senior member doesn't mind if I use his quote but it is so true.

I can't fix it - but the Cross can!

Release it to the Lord. Faith in the Cross brings Grace.

I’m sorry to hear about the struggles you and Steven are going through. I’m praying, asking our Heavenly Father to comfort you both daily with evidences of His great love and compassion (Lamentations 3:22-23). May He be the center of your marriage, draw you closer to each other and bring restoration as you lean upon Him.

Also, do you think it might be helpful to get in touch with a counselor?

Hey if you're still struggling in your marriage, I'm a marriage and family therapist. My name is jt and you can text me anytime at 3617037953. Since mariayl problems are easier solved in conversation and not in a chat dialogue.

Posting personal info like phone numbers is prohibited on this site.
It's also unwise since posts are viewable by anyone on the internet, not just users.
It's considered creepy and questionable to join the site and attempt to get users off the site.
I've reported this post so mods can remove the number.

Actually we have never prohibited people from posting their personal information. There is a warning posted in every forum letting them know that if they do post it the whole world can find it and from there it is their problem. Likewise, if someone is fool enough to call someone who randomly posts their personal information on a public site the result is on their head.

I'm solely asking for prayer for Steven and I at this time. Praying for healing, restoration, and protection. This miracle is too important to me to risk any kind of negative impact, ill will, or wrong intentions. I love Steven VERY much. I need peace and reassurance. God spoke to me and others specifically about this miracle. Please join me in prayer, I appreciate every single one of you. I welcome messages of prayer, scripture, encouragement, or stories of those who have come through similar situations. We serve a big God and I know He will do it. I know what He has promised, but yes .. it's going to take a lot of prayer and support

Ah. There's often confusion on some of these matters. Or conflicting responses from mods. This is one of those situations. Wish it were more clear and consistent.

Thank you. I have had bad experiences on other sites, some even as far too use the vulnerability of the situation to hit on me. Do once again, I am careful. Please pray.
