You go ahead and try to let your light shine my friend

I will let Gods light shine through me.

I can do nothing of my own power. My works are as filthy rags.

when you realise this, you will realise, as has many, this basic truth.
You said God gives his glory to no-one.

the glory of the work which saved me, He will not. My salvation is paid in full. signed sealed and delivered by him.

The glory he has as his child. As you showed in the verses, he will share all day long. he promised that.

Again, your getting justification and the work involved to accomplish that, and sanctification, and the glory which involved in accomplishing that mixed up. your trying to equate them as equal when they are not.

True that. The glory in that context is "credit" for our salvation.

Funny thing is, God said that once He has given us eternal life, we can never perish, nor can anyone snatch us out of His hand. Nothing in "all creation" can. That means not even ourselves. (John 10:28, Romans 8:38-39)

Are you a created being?
Joh 10:28 KJV
(28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Why? Because they hear my voice, and follow me; therefore I know.

As Paul said, keep running the race.

if we can perish, and be plucked out of Gods hand because we did not run the race, Then Jesus is a liar.

You just caused paul to contradict Jesus shame on you!

We are running a race that has already been won through Christ. The outcome is predetermined.

When God said we can never perish, nor can anything in all creation snatch us from His hand - He meant just that.

Sad that you cannot rest in the security of those truths.

Salvation is a free gift to those who believe and do not apostatise.

By adding a single condition, you have negated it as a gift and made it a wage to be earned.

It cannot be "free" when you add strings.

amen, It is not a gift, it is earned by how we we reamian faithful under our own power. God has no power at all. or recieves any glory..
No, we are not saved by works. It is about remaining faithful and not following after other gods as the Israelites did.

Christ gained the victory over sin and death, all we need to do is believe in him and follow, follow, follow, follow on........

After "believe" the rest you wrote was nothing but works.

You claim to be a Christian - that I don't know (only God does) - but assuming you are, just how many sins are attributed to you?

You can throw a free gift back in someone's face, and you can bet the farm you have lost it forever.

Don't forget, we are only talking about those who turn their back on God.

But they were waiting for Him, so plainly they had not turned their back on Jesus.

Whereas Paul was:- pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Php 3:14 KJV)
Ok, so you were once saved but no longer saved because of what ever reason and they are standing in line waiting for Jesus to return to condemn them to hell?

A gift can only be returned if the gift-giver accepts it back.

God does not.

Do not assume they rejected Jesus, if that were the case they would not have been waiting for him.

More likely they failed to grow in faith with their daily walk as they continued with the Lord.
So they failed to grow in faith.
Is there a level of faith or works or fruit that one must achieve in order to be saved?

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Then we follow the Good Shepherd all the days of our life. This is what the conversation is about.

Okay. If you agree you have no sins whatsoever attributed to you, how can a Christian ever sin and be lost?
