All denominations claim Christ as the foundation of their doctrinal beliefs, but there can only be one correct truth in which we must put our faith in. If our doctrinal beliefs are false, we worship a fals God of our own understanding. This is worshiping a false God in which there will be no redemption.

Any one who has called upon the name of the Lord and believes in their heat shall be saved. Any whosoever that believes in Him. Even those whosoevers that do not go to church, because they cannot or will not or just plum died on their deathbed.

We should go to church and not forsake assembling ourselves together, like Heb says. But THANK G-D HE DID NOT MAKE GOING TO CHURCH A PREREQUISITE TO HEAVEN OR ALL THESE DENOMINATIONS WOULD MEAN SOMETHING THEN!!!! BUT THEY ARE WORTHLESS FOR GOING TO HEAVEN!!!! THEY MAY MEAN SOMETHING TO THE PERSON FOR THE WALK THERE!!!!

There are Christians in every doctern/faith/whatever and unsaved too!!!!

I agree, but the Lord seeks those who worship him in spirit and in truth.
Christ said to believe and you will see the miracle of God. I'm certain he was speaking of the truth to believe in.
The truth is Christ was the son of God and the sacrifice of the Father for all who believe. We all agree on that, but what hinders and divides is the different beliefs on the way which salvation is obtained and secured. Are we adhering to the true redemptive Will of good, or our beliefs leading us into the power of Satan and his realm of doubt and misery?
A little leaven will effect the entire lump. Christ cautioned of that and warmed of false teachers, so there must be some kind of detrimental consequences. Any will say to me on the last day, Lord, Lord, Have we not cast out demons, and done many wonderful works in your name? I will profess to them Get away from me ye that work iniquity, I never knew you

Why do you assume the true Bride of Christ must be a particular denomination?

Anyone who believes Jesus and trusts in the Atonement He secured for their salvation will be indwelled by the Holy Spirit and they who have the Holy Spirit are the true Bride of Christ.. So concentrate on seeking the will of Jesus and believe Him and also trust 100% in the Atonement He secured on the cross.. For that is what saves us..

I get where you are coming from and agree to a certain point. I think Cholthisiam is DEMONIC... I had a people from the Church of Christ tell me because I did not get baptised to get saved (only after I was saved) I was not saved. And refused to "let" me get "saved", baptised because I smoked (at the time, 10 years after I was saved...lol...) people with sin cannot get saved.... Silly denomination...lol

Yes, there are Christian Choltics and Christian Church of Christ people. But to be honest with you there is a divide in Scripture between Calvinism and Wesleyanism and Scripture backs them both. I do not know the answer to that. I do not believe anyone does. I think when we get home G-d will show us all where we missed it.

I do believe once saved always saved or you were never saved to begin with. But I believe G-d accepts rockin' praise and worship or just a pitch pipe. I think His favorite music is what He grew up with (like any human), Jewish music from His time; He just accepts all praise and worship....

I agree with 5OC1.....we must first make sure we follow the TRUE Christ and not one of the many FALSE ones that were predicted 'to lead astray and deceive many Mat 24v4,5.
I believe that christianity is riddled with false christs.....hence the absolute confusion and constant disagreement between people.....hatred even to the point of BANNING/SILENCING those who don't agree with them.
Why would Yashua tell them to 'depart from him those he never knew ? because they had been following a false Jesus who had been 'sneaked in by the RCC....and note it is ''the MANY, not the few Mat 7v21-23.
WHEN are christians going to wake up to the fact they have been 'hoodwinked by the RCC into believing a false jesus ? any proof ? yes, but they don't believe it.

The true bride of Christ is not about denomination but what is in their hearts. If you marry someone do you do so depending on what they believe or think as an individual? or do you do so because of the heart you fell in love with?

You simply have to ignore denominations. God looks at every heart and sees who are His children by faith in Christ Jesus. So only God knows who is the true Bride of Christ, and you need not fret over this.

If there is only one God and one way, if Christ will often say to many of us that He did not know us, then there simply isn't room for many denominations.

About 20 years ago I realized that I had to be wrong about some scriptures because God is one, God is eternal and all scripture agree. With my understanding I saw disagreements. Either I was wrong or God was wrong and there was a simple answer to that. What is more, my church had taught me the interpretation I was making. So I went to work, and it took several months devoted to that study to find the answer.

Then I searched to find out where the misinformation about scripture came from. It was very soon after Christ that men who had grown up with mythology and idols but turned Christian mixed some of their beliefs with Christianity. Tracing the writings of these men and how it influenced as the church grew.

Getting back to the way Christ taught and the first church (they called it the Way) believed would be a monumental job.

Yes, the first hand-picked disciples of Jesus were all Sabbath-keepers from the same 'background as Himself. It was only after they had all been persecuted and killed that the way was open for UNGODLY men to enter in and spread their false beliefs including sunday-worship......
and that is how present-day christianity has developed into a disobedient confused religion where everybody professess to be a teacher and nobody wants to learn....children of DISobedience rejecting truth. And still today they persecute, silence, bann and behead who they class as enemy.

Well, I don't want to sound puffed up, but my testimony is very much relevant to Paul's. I was knocked off my high horse of mocking disbelief. I couldn't stand "The Gospel* or anyone who invaded my life with it. In late October of 1999, while hearing the heartbreaking yet faith filled testimony of what society would label a *junkie/whore* I didn't even actually fully come to believe, but more like I deeply doubted my unbelief to be true. It was then that, as Paul would say, *in the body or out of body I can't tell, but I was taken to the third heaven*
This is where I became part of the pure and awesomely powerful love off God.
I was imputed with the Holy Spirit and was ignorant to the fact at the time. I knew entirely from that time that God did exist, but I knew nothing of him to be able to love him. I just knew he gave me an experience and revelation that from that moment on I have been completely rendered useless to be able to deny there is a God.
6-1/2 years after this experience that would have changed any half trained idiots life (nothing changed inine but a beliief in a God) by placing one circumstance upon another, along with the vessels to play them out, I was less to the Bible (in which I believed was the worst book I could never understand) and he literally instantaneously opened my eyes to the truth. I studied for about 18-20 hours a day (in prison) The book did come alive in my hands like all them others I dreamed idiotic said I did. My testimony along with what I know the spirit has reveled to me was the truth.
The once hated Gospel became the substance and desire of my life without any desite to want it. It has been imputed but not imposed because there is no imposition, only joy and thankfulness. Though I still am beside myself some days at the work God has done in me and the things I have been freely given along with desires that lifelong friends swear they would never hear of out of this old unbelieving, Gospel hating hoodlum.
I believe the most prominent gift was a desire for and a deep understanding of the truth. I have always stayed away from commentary, and any other book but the KJV Bible. I only stiudy, and still only stiudy with a reference Bible. I have studied and poured over scripture with a zealous addiction for the surety of the truth.
After tens of thousands of hours, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I am certain of the true doctrin of the New Testament
With my testimony as confirmation, and the Pinnacle landmark of the spiritual experience and revelation granted to me, along with the powefu confirmation of the spirit of truth, I do not possess faith in the truth in the word of God, but am convinced in unwavering fact.
I believe I have been called to proclaim the truth in the sea of long told and accepted lies. I know my area of specialty surely isn't obedience. (In the eyes of society)
I am sure of the truth, and I am claiming it.
I hope you don't think I'm some nut job who has unrealistic fantasies of being a profound man of God who zealously wants to change the world (that fantasy has faded with spiritual growth :) )
I still don't know why I desire and detest some of the things I do, but I do know that even if I wanted to protest instead of gratefully accept, I am God's to use as he wills, and am clearly a living witness to the original doctrin of the new testament. The Pauline Doctrin of justification solely by faith. We are initially saved by God's extended grace, we are justified by our divinely imputed faith.
God's arm is not too short to save. His plan and Will of redemption does not need additional anything for it to be complete and perfect in it's purpose. There is no way one can fall away into unbelief if God chose it to be so. God is wholly just and righteous in whatever he decides to do with his creation. You can only come to God if he calls you by grace.
God's word is Holy and true. It is spoken and remains prominent and eternal. God is the alpha and the Omega. All of time exists within his entity. His wll and work was complete and sure to come to pass when he spoke it as done. The children of God have their names written in the book of Life somewheres in eternities past. The book is sealed. There will be no erase marks or freshly written material.
I really don't care who believes it, for experience tells me you probably do not have the indwelling spirit of truth. Maybe you are fulfilling prophecy yourself with eyes that see and ears that hear, but do not perceive. Ever learning and unable to come to the knowledge of the truth.
It is what it is. Let God be true, and every man a liar.

May all you do be for the glory of God!

Peace everyone. Please do not take offence. It will change nothing.

The will of God coupled with his sovereignty and eternal righteousness is impossible to fathom, but rest assured, nothing is slightly thwarted or out of his control. It isn't for us to judge or worry who will or won't be saved for whatever reason, for the will of God is steadfast and unchangeable. I only do what I am unable to resist doing. The modern churches are producing much masses and little truth. They are built as a corporation with sinful desires instead of a Holy sactuary for the glory of God. They teach a base truth of Christ's diety and purpose of salvation, but the fertilization mostly stops there. If we are to believe in Christ with faith, that faith must be in truth. To misconceive the redemptive qualities in Christ's atoning sacrificial death, we might as well disregard the Trinity of the Godhead. To me, they are equally detrimental concerning the truth. All's I know is that I am confident that the purpose of our existence on this fallen planet is to glorify God, however that may come to be. I am drawn with a zealous desire to spread the truth for the glory of God. So, whatever the effect only God knows, but the only thing I know is that I am driven to spread what truth I do know.

I appreciate it beta. Many Christians today want their ears tickled to comfort them from that undesireable word sovereignty.
It is all fine and dandy for God to slaughter his only begotten son if they are included, but The power in the truth of the Gospel offends those who are not, or not yet extended the grace of God for eternal salvation.
Does anyone believing a different doctrin realize they worship a Goo iwho led Israel into battle with the command to slaughter the women and children and pillage their belongings? Do they not worship the same God that wiped out the entire earth except eight souls? Do they not worship the same God of the old testament?
Why does so many cringe at the idea that God, as he's always done, will decide what he wants, and that it may not be the same as many think he ought to want.
I wasn't familiar with the doctrin of Paul in my spiteful unbelief, but the word of God remained powerful, for I myself witnessed it, and it's power of truth can be recognized by the depth of the offence in the unbelieving. Sound doctrinal truth can only be accepted by those granted to understand it. It remders the hope of any power or manipulation worthless
It is god that justifies. If

It is true, we must trust in Christ. But if we trust in Christ we will know to praise and honor the Father and to listen to Him.

To often Christians say they are saved, they trust in Christ and what Christ tells us and also say that they don't trust in the Father. You cannot trust in Christ who is one with the Father and not trust in the Father.

It is God the Father who saves through His grace that is told of in the OT. Shed blood that is the life force is necessary for salvation, Christ gave His blood. Salvation is God's business, we can not earn it by our efforts, it is given through grace. Our part is to choose how we live after we receive the gift of salvation. We cannot bind ourselves to sin and live for God. We cannot live for Christ and not live for the Father, or live for the Father and live for Christ. We must understand it is both with the Holy Spirit to guide us.

The dillusion and confusion of many denominations. Which one the true Bride of Christ?
[for me anyway] the way that it is supposed to be is that we all speak the same things, and that there be no division among us, but that we be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment: but still until now everyone says, I am of catholic; I am of Protestant; I am of Orthodox; I am of this or I am of that: the question becomes, Is Christ divided? was Catholic crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Protestant? for while one says, I am of this; and another says, I am of that; are you not carnal, and still walk as carnal? It is not of the Lord that we divide ourselves, this is secular, worldly wisdom, not of the Spirit of God, but the spirit of the world. This is the same point the Apostle Paul was trying to convey to the Corinthians, that it brings forth only corrupt fruit to divide Christ, so that the tree can never be good, except we rid ourselves of the wrong fruit.
(1 Corinthians 1:10, 12,13 & 3:3,4)
