Ok... here's my review for "12 Strong" starring Chris Hemsworth (a.k.a. Thor from Avengers)..

This movie is based on a true story about a small team of US special forces units assigned a virtually impossible mission in Afghanistan...

First let me say that Ive seen many many war-themed movies and they often disappoint... but not this time! :)
This will, in my opinion, go down in history as one of the best war movies. It came through on pretty much every level (plot, action, acting, edge-of-your-seat suspense, etc...). Some reviews I read said that half of it was slow and boring... well it wasn't for me. Many war movies are slow to me but this one kept my attention. You just need to understand what's going on. The action was realistic and very engaging. If you like movies about real-life war heroes you will like this one! :)

Solo. Well worth seeing, for the Star Wars fans. A good movie in its own right, for those unfamiliar with the series.

I scrupulously avoid trailers for movies I want to see. Typically the trailers spoil the movie, giving away all the good bits. I like to enjoy a movie without knowing what will happen.

Mind you, nowadays some trailers contain footage not in the movie. It's worth finding them afterwards to see all the scenes.

Interesting. I don't think I could ever see a movie without checking out the trailer first. I can almost always tell if I'm going to like a movie or not by its trailer. There have been a few that surprised me (both good and bad) but not many.

Movie Title: The Amazing Bulk (Lol this is not a typo)

Ohhh my, where do I start with this INCREDIBLE piece of art? The CGI and backgrounds look so immaculate and realistic that I feel like I'm actually with the relatable, flawed, and lovable characters in the gripping plot of this classic tale.

Don't believe me? Here's the trailer. Prepare to have your mind BLOWN.

Would recommend to my mum, my late great-uncle, my dad's sister's daughter's newborn, and my friend's twice-removed cousin's grandma.

Score: 1444 Chipmunks/667 Loraxes

"If you talk about scripture more than you talk about God, then you've missed the point".
- A Retired Minister
Forgive me, but the above statement makes no sense at all. Talking about scripture is talking about God. It's the word of God. It's the only way that we can know about God, what He's done, what He's doing and what He's gonna do.

Nothing to forgive. I don't even know who the retired minister is. I just know what the pastor on the radio said... "That a retired minister said it."

The last movie I watched was a rewatch of the 1954 Sci-Fi Creature Flick Them. It is about giant ants that have mutated due to exposure from atomic bomb testing in the New Mexican desert. I’m not really a Sci-Fi fan, but I love creature flicks. This one is especially well done with Edmund Gwenn as the scientist (Kris Kringle from Miracle on 34th Street). With Santa Claus in charge, you know everything is going to be fine.

You're right. I can't remember not liking any movie that was a true story.
